Urination issues

Postby Coasty » Thu Apr 30, 2026 7:05 am

I am over 2 months post implant surgery. Most things are going well but having issues urinating downwards. My natural hang is straight ahead and if I push down on my penius it impinges the urethra at the base. I have tubing that is pretty high up in the scrotum that could be the problem. I can survive it standing up but a bowel movement I have to use a hand held urinal. Anyone with similar problems ? I see the Dr again in mid May.

Coasty, do you have much swelling left ? At two months I still had some swelling (hematoma) and experienced something like you are. A few weeks later the swelling seemed all gone and things were back to normal.

Coasty, then it may require your Dr's evaluation to determine what's keeping your natural hang to be straight ahead instead of down. Seems very possible that whatever that is might be constricting your urethra when you push downward like the hematoma did to me.

Coasty, In my experience everything softens over time including the tubing. I've noticed a few Titan guys say that they had a more natural flaccid hang after several months or more. I was 30 to 40% erect for the first 6 weeks, which caused all sorts of problems with urination.

I'm a fan of cycling as much as possible to stretch everything and recover any lost length, which may also help with urination difficulties. I had problems post prostatectomy (which had caused my ED). I lost size due to atrophy and had urination problems until I started VED therapy. That helped enormously until I got my implant, which has sorted out both ED and legacy bladder issues.

Thinking outside the box it might be worth trying putting a few pumps in when flaccid. That might seem counterproductive but could help prevent the urethra from being pinched when taking a piss. You could also try manipulating the tubing, with care, if you think it's causing an obstruction. I've done that with mine and had no ill effects. But you might want to run it by your surgeon first.

Thanks. I’ll talk with my Dr on 18 May. Seems I have coiled excess tubing high in the scrotum that is the issue.
