One is the likelihood of girth loss, a consequence that can only be attenuated by how girthy you were to begin with. The second is tissue erosion due to the consistent hard pressure of the rods; and the third is the malleable’s eventual surrender to gravity at the “hinge.” Can you speak frankly and honestly to any of these issues?
Happy to.
Girth: Haven't experienced any girth loss, maybe because I still have good residual blood flow in the other spongy tissues of the penis and the glans. My penis looks different in different temperatures and conditions—I'm less girthy when it's cold and after I work out. But I'm really happy with it, in general. For what it's worth, haven't experienced length loss, either.
Erosion: This is a risk for anyone with any kind of implant, not just malleables. Depends who you talk to (especially on this forum), but my surgeon said that the absolute erosion risk between IPPs and MPPs is essentially a statistical error, and that surgical technique and patient health are more important. General tips: Don't have diabetes, don't take direct trauma to the penis. This remains the case regardless of the kind of implant you have. I've seen photos of erosions through the testicle (pump) and abdomen (reservoir), so the rods/tubes are not the only concern. Uncontrolled diabetes makes any kind of implant more dangerous, from what I understand.
Wobble: This is something I've heard anecdotally but haven't experienced. I'll ask my surgeon at follow-up later this year. I guess it's possible, but I don't know if it's a critical issue. Sorry, can't really deliver much of value on this.

Thanks for the response, Duke! You always leave me with much to think about.
That said, I wasn’t actually speaking of erosion, but of the tissue thinning some experience with the malleable. You said you still get good residual blood flow, so I guess you’re fine (at least for now).
Here’s a good follow up: would you ever consider switching to an IPP down the line?
