The way I understand it - malleable implant will have fixed rigidity. It will always be hard - but the base can potentially get a bit more wobble over time with atrophy. Functionally though, it’s two malleable rods sitting in your corpora, those rods remain rigid, so you can penetrate.

If your penis gets good engorgement today, you should still get engorgement of glans and urethra. I get a lot of engorgement still with mine, it is very noticeable and is really awesome. It has made masturbation fantastic.

There’s mixed opinions on continued size loss with a malleable. Dr Eid implied that some size loss occurs with eventually tissue atrophy - specifically mentioning the glans and some parts of shaft. But at the same time, I feel like we don’t hear a ton about this from actual patients or even other surgeons. This is not something Hakky leaned into in my discussions with him, for example.

Bottom line - with the malleable, your penis will be semi rigid all the time. Your size after surgery more or less will be your final size once swelling subsides since there’s no cycling. If you get good engorgement now, you should still have this after surgery assuming a competent surgeon.

My earnest opinion: I’d recommend the Genesis based on the consultation I recently had with Dr Eid. Again, just my opinion - but I think bend angle is the most important part of the malleable implant. The Genesis has the best bend angle. You don’t want to live your life walking around looking like you have a boner - with a less optimal bend angle, that is what you might risk looking like. Not saying everyone with a Rigi10 or Tactra will absolutely look like that - but the bend angles of those devices is not as good. With my Rigi10, I need to wear looser pleated trousers to avoid having my implant look obvious. I have yet to find a jean that works for me - I think with a Genesis, this wouldn’t be an issue to be honest. The IPP guys also have to figure out what works for them in terms of concealment, but for must guys with an IPP the bend angle is obviously WAY better and they end up just looking like they are showers (but not packing an erection). This isn’t immediately the same with the MPPs, hence why I think the Genesis is likely the best one out there.

Best of luck man!
