Titan Touch pump, can you only deflate a bit or is it all or nothing once pressed?

Titan Touch pump, can you only deflate a bit or is it all or nothing once pressed?

For the times when you only want to release a little bit, I can think of a couple examples. But from what I understand the Titan Touch is a one press deflater, designed to deflate all the way.

I am pretty sure I can bump it and drop some pressure without flipping the valve, but when you press hard enough, it "switches" to free flow mode. This means it can continue deflating after you let go, but usually you have to squeeze your shaft. It also means it can re-inflate on its own unless you give it a pump or two an feel the reset "chirp."

I can only deflate when Ikeep the button pressed and according to the Titan support the term "OneTouch" only refers to the fact that there is a SINGLE button. But thie does not mean you can deflate all the way after pressing once. As a matter of fact you are supposed to press the pump 1x after deflating to make sure the valve is in its regular position again.

The term OneTouch is just a bit misleading

That's because you made it up. But seriously, Coloplast made a OTR and then a Touch. There is no such thing as onetouch. Regardless, they pretty much work the same way, as long as you "touch it once" (hard enough), it switches modes and you can deflate as long or as slowly as you want. You are correct these only have one "button" but the idea is you press it once. The number one complaint with the Genesis was that you have to hold it down for the duration of deflation.

If you have a problem deflating where you have to hold it for the whole time, this means you aren't pushing hard enough to switch to deflate mode. As I said, you can "bump" it and release a little at a time, but this is not its intended function.
