Recovery time

Postby WoodyB77 » Tue Apr 14, 2026 2:20 pm

I'm wondering how long it took after your implant surgery it took for you to be able to do simple errands like going to the grocery store etc. My surgery is approaching in two days and I'm trying to decide how much food etc. I should stockpile in advance. Thanks in advance!

That's going to be a wild guess. Everyone heals differently. Took me 6 weeks to tolerate sitting in a dining room chair.
However, I was walking to the garage by day 3 to smoke, maybe 40 yards each way.
Prepare for at least two weeks of food, medicine, batteries, etc. Frozen peas to ice the scrotum. Lots of games, books, movies to chill out on the couch with.
The first week is the toughest most say.
Hope your surgery goes well.

Took me 4 weeks to be truly able to get around… but I also have a MPP and couldnt bend it until week 4!! with an IPP I think you’ll be able to start doing errands and such sooner, generally. Everyone heals different and some have pain longer than others, but I think most guys are able to “operate” in day to day life fairly soon with the IPP.
