I am concerned about penile prosthesis and fertility. I am in my mid-20s and planning to undergo penile prosthesis surgery. However, I have many concerns because I am newly married and we are planning to have a baby.
If I undergo this surgery, will I still be able to conceive naturally?
Is here men who have a penile implant still have many children after the surgery? And I want testimonials I would appreciate clear information to help give me peace of mind.

Hi! You should discuss with your surgeon, they should be able to give you the best answers.
I think a lot of guys on FT are either A) middle age or older and no longer looking to have kids, or B) younger and also not looking to have kids. Strangely enough, I really don’t know any users on here who actually fall into the “implanted and trying to have kids” category! But I’d be very interested as well if there’s anyone who sees this topic and might have experience with this or have spoken to their surgeon about it.
My oversimplified thinking is that the implant shouldn’t impact fertility negatively - as a matter of fact, could be a positive since you’ll likely want to have sex much more often! But that’s just my assumption from things I’ve read, etc. It’s always best to discuss something like this with your surgeon.

No, the implant does not impact fertility in any way. Many men have fathered children after receiving implants.
42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.
