Re: Depressed
Well then get busy. 2 x daily VED, 6 hour daily traction device. Daily tadalafil. Stop crying and get on with it.
Mid 30s. UK. ED since mid teens. Done the pills, injections, P Shot, Gainswave, ESWT shockwave.
Now preparing to take the plunge under care of Professor Ralph at UCLH. Planning on a Rigicon Infla10 AX with Pulse pump.

Re: Depressed
VED is highly recommended; it makes the tissue very elastic, allowing the doctor to more easily insert the largest possible implant. I did it for at least two hours every day—and I'm happy that I haven't lost any length at all.
I never used a traction device.

Consistent use of the Phallosan Forte (you wear it) can add two inches, according to studies. Invest in one and use it with a VED, 10 minutes twice daily.

42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

I used both a VED and a Phallosan Forte traction device—I mention them and include a couple of photos in my implant journal (link in my signature).
I don’t believe gaining 2” is realistic, regardless of what any study claims. That said, I do think traction can help reclaim size lost to chronic ED. The key is consistency—it needs to be worn for many hours each day. It’s not like the strong tension from a VED; it’s a constant, gentle stretch. I wore mine about 12+ hours a day, every day, for roughly six weeks pre-op. At most, I gained about 0.5–1 cm. That’s it. But if that helped my surgeon size me up to the next implant, I consider that a win.
It also gave me peace of mind knowing I had done everything I could to support a good outcome.
Post-op, I didn’t lose any length—none. Many guys with below-average girth report some increase with a Coloplast Titan. I started with above-average girth and did lose about 1/4”, which I had been warned might happen due to my size. It hasn’t been an issue—I’m still more than satisfied.
A penile implant isn’t an enlargement procedure—it’s about restoring reliable rigidity. In the hands of a skilled, experienced surgeon, most men maintain their size. It can take a few months of consistent cycling to get there, but overall, most guys are very happy with their results.
57yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan XL w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

Re: Depressed
Mangotin, I know its easy and common to obsess about size. And you definitely want to take the advice of others above to do everything you can to make the most with that. It took me 9-10 months to get back to pre-op size, but long before then, I honestly stopped caring. I found out there's a lot more to going bionic than just size.
For me, my original equipment was great up until my 50's. Then not so much. And I went thru the usual treatments which worked "ok", until they didn't.
From that perspective, and this is no BS, my implant works better for my wife and I than my original equipment ever could.
- an on-demand erection whether tired, been drinking a little too much -- whatever
- getting hard, and staying hard, takes no effort from her (although she likes to "help" me while I'm pumping up
)
- stays rock hard regardless of position, changing positions, moving around, delays -- anything
- stays hard, and keeps going and going and going, even after I orgasm, until she has as many orgasms as possible
- and if she wants 'round 2' just after 'round 1', I'm always ready to go
And that capability is exactly what lies ahead for you !
I'd encourage you to consider other forum members' reflections in the "ten years" thread below for some inspiration.

I would say gaining a centimeter is not bad; that is a notable difference in “dick math.”
I think base-line health is a factor too. A lot of guys using the Phallosan don’t have ED; they’re trying to gain size. I don’t know what the cause of your ED was, but I must imagine that complications like fibrosis, for instance, might inhibit the potential gains from a device like the Phallosan.
That said, having a Titan XL installed, you were probably pretty big to begin with. And I’m glad you’re happy with the device.

If we are young, there is much to work on.
I have been using a VED in the shower and pelvic floor exercises daily. It has made my cock twice the size. I tried to fit some old packets of condoms, and they just wouldn't fit.

1955. I have had ED for years. We were planning to go for a Rigi10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in. 9/2025 More life roadblocks with prostate Cancer:((
