Hey everyone - no real meaningful changes. Still dealing with skin sensitivity / pain on both sides of penis. Pain seems superficial and not deep, from rubbing against underwear. It’s very sensitive / even just moving my finger across the area can trigger it. It goes away without contact.

I do think it feels like this is lingering pain from the skin being stretched since surgery.

I could be imagining it, but I feel like I’m getting some slight sensation returning in the numb-side of my penis over the right subcoronal scar. This numbness didn’t really bother me and I never really notice it, but return of sensation is definitely a nice thing.

I’ve noticed that when I masturbate, I’m getting really great engorgement. About 1/2 inch extra girth, and my glans gets very engorged too. I’m grateful to still be getting that blood flow!

The implant feels more and more normal each week with the exception of the pain I experience in underwear and pants + the frustration around bend angle. Concealment is zero problem when in the compression boxers + high rise trousers. Totally concealed. It’s just the pain that bugs me, but I’m holding out hope that this isn’t some new chronic pain I’ll have to live with and that it will continue to improve.

Have you tried pitting a toddler sock over your dick under your clothes? This really helped me the first couple of months, and I still do it to prevent chafing and pain when running or doing vigorous exercise.

I still do this and it does help! But in my case, I get the impression this could be more of a “band aid” solution and not longer term fix. Because the pain is focused enough to just the right side of my penis and noticeable from contact - and because it’s ongoing past 10 weeks - I’m trying to get a full evaluation on how things are healing + assessment for erosion risk.

I’ve decided actually to get a second opinion from Dr Eid, as I’ll be in NYC for about a month on business coming up here. I’ve scheduled an appointment with him. My trip to Hakky got pushed out for a few reasons to May but didn’t want to wait that long, so hoping we could take a look at the area + at the rods with Eid via ultrasound to rule out any migration of the right side rod.

If for any reason it looks like there could be a medical need to revise, I’ll end up pushing for a Genesis on account of the better bend, which I do think would make a substantial difference in comfort. And to TooYoung’s point in his message above (before he went full-crazy on me, as is tradition) I think because of my lower average length penis, bending effectively is a little bit tricker due to physics. This is something I was worried about and I asked Hakky about back in December prior to surgery but he never fully addressed. So my thinking is for my length, the 11mm or even possibly the 13mm Genesis could be a good fit, depending on size of corpora.

We will see on my consultation coming up this month. If Eid and Hakky both think things look normal and it’s just slow healing, then I’ll stick with the Rigi10. But if there’s a sizing issue or any potential erosion risk emerging, I’m pushing for the Genesis.
33 yrs old. ED since high school. Pills always hit or miss, mostly ineffective. Finally diagnosed with venous leak in early September 2025.

Implanted w/ Dr Hakky on January 20, 2026. Recovering.
