Surgery planned beginning of April, 2026. Germany

Hi

Nice to e-meet you all! I am scheduled to have surgery in beginning of April in Germany. 37yo, Struggled with ED my whole adult life, pills do not work,injections are a no go from the UX perspective.

This thread will serve as a journal, I will try to post here regularly.

Any pre-/post- surgery tips? I live alone and will be traveling to(and from) the clinic by train. The doctor says I will stay 3-4 days in the hospital.

Had surgery yesterday. In the end doctor suggested AMS LGX. Everything went well. I’m recovering now and will be allowed to go home the day after tomorrow(once they remove drainage and catheter). My friend will pick me up and drive me home.

Moderate pain. Couldn’t sleep much last night. Hoping it gets better.

Forgot to mention - the doctor recommended circumcision. More often than not you will need another surgery if you are not cut. So he prefers to do it together with the implant. I agreed with the doctor!
