Everything looks good, despite being only a few weeks post-op.
I don't think you need 2 hours of inflation in the morning. Is that Dr. Taj's advice? Most people do 30 mins in morning and same in the evening.

Week 5

Hi everyone, time for my update. This is probably going to be a boring one because not too much has changed.

Probably my biggest news is that I have finally been using it for sex. I decided to have a hook up with a guy and I seem to do pretty well. It was all doggy. Things felt odd and I could sort of feel the tips poking into my glans. Overall, it felt good and I was able to come, but it wasn’t entirely pleasurable. Since then I’ve had sex with my husband a couple of times. He is not used to being a bottom so he tends to be tight and has a harder time with it. He did say it felt uncomfortable because I was so hard. Also, I tended to go a bit deep and that made it hurt. I think he’s just not used to it because I’m not unusually large. We also tried cowboy, and while it worked, it was a really uncomfortable for me. I think the squeezing and twisting and not being in control made me really nervous. It just felt like my dick was being torqued. Kind of painful really. The first time with him was not good and I actually felt bad about it because he didn’t seem to be getting much pleasure. We tried again the next day and things were better. I think we both just need to have the right attitude that is going to take some time. I read multiple posts where people had amazing sex right away. I was hoping for that but probably should have been more realistic with my expectations.

Still healing and swelling is very gradually going down. I can feel the tubes and some fullness to the left side of my dick. Also, my pump has taken to rotating a bit and now the button sits facing down. That means if I want to press it. I have to rotate the whole thing upward so I can get my thumb on it. Kind of annoying. But, my scrotum is settling down, and I have less swelling and bruising. Pumping up to fully hard is getting easier. I can do it pretty quickly without any pain. I’ve even gotten to the point where I can squeeze the bulb to where I can’t get any more saline into the cylinders. It’s still uncomfortable when it’s that hard but not as bad as it was. Cycling is getting a little less painful and I try not to pump too hard or I just can’t handle it. Dr. Taj did say that I don’t have to do two hours in one stretch. I can spread it out throughout the day. I have been making that change and it does make things easier.

We were in Florida over the weekend and went to a nude beach. At first, I was a little self-conscious, but then I really started to have fun being a shower. When I walked out of the water, I definitely got some stares. After a while, I sort of enjoyed it and when lying on the towel, I made sure people could get a good view. Proud of my new deflated look. They were plenty of guys with big dangling dicks so I didn’t feel like I was that unusual. Made me comfortable.

I’m thinking about my dick less and less each day. I can now hang comfortably in my underwear for the most part without noticeable pain. Sometimes it does flare up with a dog ears, but overall it’s much better. I still have pain at night that wakes me up sometimes, but it is getting better.

I’m including a picture of my incision. Healing pretty well and I am starting to use scar gel. I don’t tend to trim down or shave so eventually it’s going to be well hidden.

Not really seeing any changes in length that I can tell. It’s possible that my girth has bumped up just a tiny bit. Maybe an eighth of an inch? I’m really hoping that I can get up to 5 inches around across the entire shaft. Time will tell. Still leaning and rotated to the left. I don’t like it, but overall it’s not that bad.

Eight Weeks

Time for a quick update! No major news but a few things I've noticed:

Cycling is getting more comfortable. I can fully pump until the bulb is hard without much pain. One annoying thing is that it feels like the bulb has rotated so that the deflate button in pointing directly down to my feet. At times it can be hard to get it to twist around so I can get my thumb on it. Otherwise no problems with inflation. I can still feel the folds and dog ears when deflated but they are starting to soften some. Looking forward to that improving. It's still hard to wear snug underwear for more than a couple of hours because it emphasizes the folds and gets to be uncomfortable. Most days at home I wear loose Hanes boxers under my joggers. At night, I still wake up with some discomfort from the folds - take Tylenol most nights. Very slowly getting better but I still can't sleep on my stomach, which I used to do all the time.

Been going to the gym again and am back to pushing about as much as I did. I did some hip thrusts with a belt across my hips. I usually do a lot of weight. The day after I felt a little discomfort in the tubes to the left of my dick. I can feel them pretty easily and there is a coil. Kind of freaky to feel them shifting around because they are very easy to distinguish under the skin, but I'm a lean guy so it's easy to feel them. However, you wouldn't see them just by looking. I probably just caused some inflammation but I was worried I somehow stretched the tubes to the reservoir. No real pain and everything is working. Maybe just need to be more careful for a bit.

Sex has been getting better. I get some pain in the tips but it's not terrible. I noticed that because I'm so hard, my dick doesn't flex as much when my partner moves around or shifts their hips. That adds some torque and can be uncomfortable. Partner on top (cowgirl/boy) is finally getting to be better but is still my least comfortable position. With casual hook-ups I've been able to hide the pumping fairly easily. I usually start at about 60% inflated and sneak in some pumps when I'm undressing or when they aren't looking. It is wonderful not having to worry about staying hard though. I can full engage and not even think about it. It's starting to feel more and more normal, like it's just my regular hard dick. Sensation is great and I don't have trouble coming.

I remember my first couple of weeks and how far away 8 weeks felt to me. If you are newly implanted, time will fly! Just try not to think about it all the time.
