It's likely that you'll look much the same as now, just that your glans will probably be on the end of a longer dick. Similarly I was always a grower, which has completely flipped the other way post implant. Also grew around double from flaccid to erect. Now it's only maybe 1.5 inches difference between them. Flaccid size has nearly doubled, hence the "shower" tag that most seem to find. I'm fortunate that I have a fairly large glans even when soft, possibly helps that I'm circumcised. I do get cold glans which isn't helpful, but seems to be slowly improving. In my case I don't think anything looks abnormal and my dick looks pretty much as it always has when flaccid, just bigger.

One thing to remember about engorgement is that the glans has its own blood flow, separate from the cavernosal tissue where your implant cylinders will be. Early in my recovery I was worried that I'd never get any glans engorgement when erect. Eventually after a lot of cycling I started to get some swelling but not much. I have tried Sildanefil/Viagra during PIV sex. It helps to some extent but I've found over time that I don't really need it. I find that when I'm aroused during sex the glans engorges naturally, most intensely during the final build up to orgasm.

Also, when erect my cylinder tips are more than 3/4 into the glans, giving support and a degree of firmness. Externally it remains soft until any natural engorgement arrives, but not floppy or unstable.

I am fortunate, in that my glans is well defined and hardens significantly especially with use of VED. Sensitivity is slightly reduced but orgasm and release is mind blowing!

My doctor prescribed 100 mg Cialis for cold glans. I take it an hour or more before sex and I immediately noticed that it helped a bit with engorgement as well as the cold glans, so a nice side effect.

I don't know if a lower dose would have the same effect. That 100 mg might not work for guys who hit the sack multiple times a week. At my age, there are several days between sex, so not a problem of accumulating too much Cialis in my bloodstream.

Hmm, you see you mention you already had a sizeable glans, I don't, mine is quite small. You're now one of two guys to respond here that says they had the cold glans issue too.

The point of an implant for me is to no longer rely on having to take any medication at all, so this would definitely be consideration for that.

Yeah, you see, I want to get away from having to take any medication... Injections work for me somewhat but if I'm meeting a girl I have to sneak round the corner in an alley or a pub toilet to inject right before to use it before it wears off.

That's my main drive towards getting an implant!

An implant can't give anyone a bigger glans. But it's unlikely your dick will look any less attractive than now, and may even look better. My flaccid is definitely impressive compared with pre op.

Yeah, cold glans seems relatively common. I've asked my surgeon about it and he said it will eventually resolve but couldn't give a specific timeframe. For sex it isn't a problem. Once underway with PIV it quickly warms up. More noticeable when I'm exercising outdoors in really cold weather.

I also said that I found that I don't need to use medication for glans engorgement during sex. It can give a mild "boost" but isn't essential, so I don't usually bother. Likewise a cock ring can give similar results. I've experimented with those briefly post implant but haven't used one for ages. I might still do either in the future, but it's only to amp things up, not because they are necessary.

So what's the current situation? You'll pump up before sex but your glans will be cold and not engorged initially? Does the look of it appear strange or just the cold sensation?
