Revision by Clavell

24 days ago I had a revision by Dr Clavell. My original Titan 20cm plus 1cm RTE was functioning perfectly…. However my reservoir was practically just under the skin just under my belt line, and the tips of cylinders were poking out on the bottom during sex causing pain for my wife and a little discomfort for me.
Had a consult back in January with Clavell and he agreed that the tips presented an erosion issue if left untreated. dr. Also agreed that he could see that the reservoir was in a terrible place and very uncomfortable and extremely visible.
Revision went great, I got a Titan 24cm with 1 cm trimmed off ends, so I’m cylinder from end to end!! Dr did a tunneling procedure which placed the tips more into the center and even a little towards the top of the glans where there’s definitely more padding. I had double hernia surgery with mesh about 30 years earlier so Clavell placed my reservoir under my abdominal muscles just below and to the side of my belly button well above my belt line. Dr explained that by placing reservoir under these muscles that when it filled it would press down into the abdomenal wall and not show outwardly at all. This has been the case to perfection! I can feel where it is but you cannot see it at all!!
So far things have been a little more painful than the first implant I would guess due to the tunneling procedure and having to remove the old reservoir and place the new one.
Last couple days I’ve had somewhat of a knot in my abdomen to the left of the shaft which is causing some swelling and discomfort. I contacted Clavells office and he had me send pics and he feels like it’s a hematoma. It’s usually better in the morning and swells some during the day so guess it’s not something to be too worried about. He did however put me on another two weeks of antibiotics just to be safe. I’ll report back next week when I hopefully can start cycling if Dr allows me to.

hey Rider, great to hear from you. Regarding the reservoir placement change- thats why I had to get a revision, Doc said He didn't get many thin patients. I definitely still feel mind 5 years out when i do sit ups but it doesn't hurt. he did say the new placement can be complicated for a revision down the road. Hopefully thats a ways away ( knock wood). pun intended. Good luck Brother good to hear from you.
