Getting implant despite still getting good morning wood?

Just tonight I woke up twice, both times with a raving hard on. But during the day, I cant get it to go despite being turned on. Whether the Wife trying to have a go, or even just myself trying to rub one out, best I can get is a semi hard.

It's puzzling because I guess it still works naturally to achieve erection, but not on demand. Is the chemistry different for morning wood vs sexual erection?

a lot of difference in night patterns, at night you're laying down, blood pressure different brain waves are different, relaxing differences. daytime you're busy with work and life distractions and so on. My 2 cents -talk it out w your urologist if you ultimately need or just want an implant? don't beat yourself up over it! just make that decision and in brace it move forward, If on the other hand you guys can figure out the daytime issue,,,go that direction keeping a working cock is always the best answer, I guess im saying do your homework, then go 100% and don't look back.

I've found being on daily Cialis has helped me with being able to get hard by myself and get myself off, but I'm pretty sure I still want to get the implant. It's one thing to get hard by yourself in perfect conditions like cbinspok said, it's another to stay hard during sex with a partner in different positions etc.
I'm tired of it letting me (and my wife) down when I need it most.
I wouldn't be surprised if for out there is no physiological cause for my ED and that its most likely psychological, I don't know if I care anyway, I just want reliability now

I was still getting morning wood. Occasionally quite stiff but it would go away almost immediately. I could get a semi that was (sort of) firm enough for masturbation. In the moments before orgasm it would get quite stiff. Daily Cialis helped a bit.

But it wasn’t good enough for penetrating sex. None of the pills were enough and eventually injections weren’t enough. Yet I could still get a semi.

I’ve been implanted for a year now and the great news is that I still get engorgement (a semi) around the implant. I’ll wake with some morning wood around the implant. When I’m turned on by something I get a chubby around the implant. As I’m getting closer to orgasm I get thicker around the implant.

So, although the implant is “irreversible” I didn’t lose my ability to still have some natural physiologic reaction to arousal.

I feel like I won and didn’t have to give up anything.

I would get morning wood too, especially when taking 5 mg Cialis daily. But I didn’t get consistently hard when I wanted it to happen.

I was and still getting morning wood post the implant. You better check with your Dr. who should give a medical reco. If all other solutions (like my case) fail to allow you to enjoy penetraion, then you may consider going bionic which is something, I wish I done earlier!
