I can’t give you any of the advice you are looking for, as I know nothing about MPPs. But I suspect like us guys with IPPs it’s mostly a matter of time and adjustment to get everything to work the right way.

I understand your frustration with the buckling, but try to relax and give it time. Remember that as you mentioned, the toy you used is much tighter than a human. It’s likely you’ll have no issue when you have a partner involved. And even with self play, the only issues sounds like initial penetration. Once that moment is past you’re off to the races and it sounds like things worked as designed.

Having soreness and hot spots is normal — I’m past four months, and if I inflate close to max and have sex for a long time, once deflated my glans and just behind it are quite sore for 10-20 minutes. Give it time and as you heal that should improve.

Also remember the upsides that caused you to choose an MPP…always ready, no pumping required, no mechanical failures causing revision surgeries. You’re still learning to live with this device. Give it time and if you are dissatisfied in a year or two, the IPP option is always open to you down the road.

Thank you Elbow - yes, I needed to take a couple steps back. This week has been MUCH better, and the tightness of the toy was definitely a reason why there was slight buckling. Haven’t had sex yet but masturbation with and without the toy has greatly improved and is better than masturbation before on account of the rigidity of the erection / not needing to worry at all about maintaining it!

I 100% agree. I think a large part of this is related to the toy itself, and even with it just stabilizing the base with my hand solves the issue.

Yeah, I’m trying to keep things in perspective and how much improvement I’ve already had with all this. I’m about to start dating casually again for the first time in awhile, and I’m finding a level of confidence present that I didn’t even know existed.
