I guess I’m a not one of the lucky guys who recovered in less than 2 weeks. I’m getting better but still unable to do basic tasks like grocery shopping or driving.
Pain is manageable but still hurts especially in the reservoir area and my scrotum l which is still very much swollen and makes locating the deflation button almost impossible.
But what is really messing up with my head is the size of my penis. I don’t think the doctor undersized me because I can feel the tips of the implant in my glans but it really looks very small. I don’t understand how he could measure only 9 cm distal when I was 14cm the day before surgery.
I am all day reading posts in FT and reddit about size after surgery and I know many of you guys recovered your original size or almost all of it, but I can’t help but think the worst.
After all my wife and I have been through, I can’t imagine her face when I ask her to have sex with my brand new 4 inch bionic dick :|

What was your pre-op size compared to now?

Toronto, sorry that this part of the journey has got you down a bit.
So, the 9cm is your internal distal measurement?

I don’t have the same implant as you I have the AMS LGX 18cm with 3cm rear tip extenders.
My internal measurements are 11cm distal and 10cm proximal. 21cm total
I would say we are exactly the same adding your implant size 20cm and your rear tip extender 1cm for a total of 21cm.

It took me a good while after I was cleared to cycle and have sex at 6 weeks. I could barely get in 10 pumps the day I had device training. My dick looked small.
My docs protocol was cycling twice a day in the shower for 20 minutes, pumped to as much as I could get in.

It took me 5 to 6 months before I was back to my pre-op length.
Bone pressed, I’m 6.25 to 6.50 and if I’m fully aroused with a blood filled glans, I’m sure it’s beyond those measurements above.

I’m four years out from surgery and I still cycle at least once a day even if I use it for sex that day, just to keep everything stretched.

Toronto, give it some time, you’re just at the beginning of your journey.

In my teenage years I was around 17 cm. Pre-op I was measuring around 6.5–7 inches. Immediately post-op I dropped to about 4.1 inches, and now 8 weeks later I’m around 5.6. Thank God.Brother, the struggle is still absolutely there and I know it will probably stay for a while, but I’m grateful that I can have sex with my wife again. That alone means a lot.
We also have to remember where we were before the surgery. Many of us had no reliable erections at all. We still have a long way to go in the healing process, but progress is happening. And thank God for this forum it really helps that we can share our experiences and support each other through the journey.
Welcome to the bionic team, brother.
51 years old. Lived with ED for 20 years.
Pills stopped working. Trimix helped, but injections weren’t sustainable.
Coloplast Titan IPP implanted January 8, 2026 -20 cm.
Grateful, moving forward.

toronro
the 2 week recovery is a myth, or at best EXTREMELY rare.
you will be like most of us and be out a year for body / plastics and mind come together completely. follow docs recovery advice do not focus on size, that will come back. the size you measured is not the same thing the doc is measuring, he's working internally. So relax feel better, be happy you're finally on the right road your wife is going to be happy. I want about to cycle for nearly 5 months after my initial surgery, I was in a panic, I did the work ( fun duty) and I ended up larger then I started.
this why I say the worst part of implementing is the weeks after when men want it to be over and have brand new huge cocks, Lol
it takes time brother
67years,fighting ed for over twenty years. A sever break, vit E, pataba, Viagra, massage Ved cilas, and I'm tired- throwing in the towel, Op for implant Mar 18, 2021 AMS LGX 18 x12 + 1 3cm RTE, gained girth and length, very glad I took the hard step.
