Finally! Surgery tomorrow

Postby toronto83 » Thu Feb 19, 2026 12:41 am

Hi dear members,
Finally, I am scheduled for my implant surgery tomorrow in Toronto with Dr. krakowsky. I’ve been following the forum and I would like to thank you guys for all the valuable information. Thanks to the forum, I was convinced the implant was the way to go going forward.
Wish me luck

Best of luck to you toronto83! I'm 4 weeks and 1 day out from surgery. First couple of weeks a bit tough, but use a lot of ice and follow doctors instructions and all will be well. I'm 2 weeks from "activation day" and I can hardly wait.

Hope all went well. Glad you found helpful info here at Frank Talk. Next few days to rest, ice and ask yourself why did I do this.

Hey toronto83. In addition to the previous advice I recommend acquiring an inflatable donut, Arnica Gel and Aspercream. (Be sure to not get any Arnica into an open incision)
The donut helps when sitting for longer periods of time. The Arnica gel helps alleviate soreness and improves healing time by increasing capillary blood flow. As for the Aspercream, it was a real help in dealing with the additional ache that comes on when beginning cycling.
Blessings to you and your surgical team.

Hi guys,
I’m back home and recovering from surgery.
According to the doctor, it was a success.
He implanted me a Coloplast Titan 20+1RTE.
The pain is manageable but urinating stings as hell. I know it’s normal after catheter removal but oh boy it hurts.
I also know that I shouldn’t worry too much about size at this stage, but it looks too small compared to my size right the day before the surgery.
I was 14cm BPL and now semi-inflated looks like 8 or 9.
What surprised me the most is my proximal and distal measurements: 12 Proximal and only 9 distal.
I read a lot about recovering lost size post surgery cycling aggressively for 6-12 months, but psychologically it’s inevitable to be disappointed.
I’m staying positive and hopeful :)

Welcome Toronto83!! The burning after urinating SUUUUUUCKS. For me it took longer to shake that symptom than I was expecting (about 4 weeks or so, don’t remember exactly but I documented it in my own journal). I hope yours resolves faster than mine did!

Things are so misleading at your post-surgery stage. I have an MPP so my size was pretty much exact after surgery, but because you have an IPP you’ve got your cycling journey in front of you to gain things back!

Ice ice and best of luck in these early stages!

15 days update:
I guess I’m a not one of the lucky guys who recovered in less than 2 weeks. I’m getting better but still unable to do basic tasks like grocery shopping or driving.
Pain is manageable but still hurts especially in the reservoir area and my scrotum l which is still very much swollen and makes locating the deflation button almost impossible.
But what is really messing up with my head is the size of my penis. I don’t think the doctor undersized me because I can feel the tips of the implant in my glans but it really looks very small. I don’t understand how he could measure only 9 cm distal when I was 14cm the day before surgery.
I am all day reading posts in FT and reddit about size after surgery and I know many of you guys recovered your original size or almost all of it, but I can’t help but think the worst.
After all my wife and I have been through, I can’t imagine her face when I ask her to have sex with my brand new 4 inch bionic dick :|
