38. About to schedule surgery with Dr. Eid

I’m 38. Live in nyc. From ages 18-31, I had a great, confident sex life. ED arrived at age 32. Turned to pills and then in my desperation Trimix. Eventually dialed back to bi mix. Injections for the last 5 years. The loss of confidence and self security has slowly eroded over the past 5 years. Having to stick a needle in to have sex has robbed me of confidence and spontaneity. Now at the point where scar tissues are forming. This has infected every area of my life and how I move through the world. I used to be happy, confident and socially at ease…. Now I’m not. Have lost two relationships to my insecurity surrounding the decline.

Seeing Dr. Eid for Doppler tomorrow 3/10. Stretched length 6.5inch, injection length 7.2 inch.

Basically, I want my life back. I want to have sex when I want and not have to worry about damaging my self further with injections. Most of all, I want to get my confidence back.

Are my reasons for doing this sound?

Dr Eid did my implant surgery. He has done THOUSANDS of implants and you will be in very good hands.

The treatment for ED is pills (which didn’t work for you), then shots (scar tissue forming and not working well for your confidence) then finally implant.

It sounds completely reasonable for you to get an implant. Dr Eid is an incredible implant surgeon and his entire staff are fantastic.

He did my implant last March and the last year has been fantastic. I had an easy recovery. I lost no length at all. And am able to have sex anytime. I don’t have to think about shots any longer. Don’t miss opportunities because I don’t have my shots with me. Don’t worry about the shot working or working long enough…

I have no regrets at all.

You are definitely right to do this. Too many guys think I'm too young but go on letting their sex life suffer. Injections were a pain for me, hated sticking myself wondering if there might be long term damage. It was also a mood killer for me having to plan sex.

your on the right path! get a ved pronto, use it once a day till surgery date. a man your age sould be making the sex memories to last his whole life, you are going to get back in the saddle soon enough, don't fall victim to the "2 weeks I was 100%". it will be months after but it gets a bit better each day! then you'll be pounding your partner many months out after surgery and you won't be even thinking about the implant. sending patience brother. keep us in the loop.

Hi Good Wood. I actually had looked at your story previously knowing I would go with Eid. Looks like you got an incredible result. Honestly your last paragraph about how this last year has been…. Hi old guy. Thank you so much for the response. This is the exact thing that’s bothering me. I so badly just want to get back to living this with out that constant back round anguish and anxiety. Appreciate it!

Hi spok. Thank you for your response and words of encouragement. It’s been incredible reading the different stories on here. I am mentally preparing for it to be a rough recovery but one that will be well worth the investment. I just want to feel whole again.
