Celebrating piece of mind, a month after surgery

Postby Bionic_Brian » Thu Mar 05, 2026 9:53 am

Today is a celebration.
It's exactly four weeks and three days after my surgery. On February 2nd, I received an AMS 700 LGX, and today was my second checkup with the surgeon. At the first checkup (18 days after surgery), I was told I could cycle, and if all went well, I could have sex, which indeed went well. Today I was told the third and fourth checkups could be canceled, as there was no reason for more checkups.

Now, my story:
After more than 20+ years of ED, during which I could no longer perform because my erections never lasted longer than 15 seconds at most, I was able to have sex normally again 18 days after surgery.

Having sex, receiving oral sex, and even anal sex is no problem at all anymore. I no longer have to worry about having to climax as quickly as possible, because otherwise it won't happen anyway. I can just take it easy and enjoy sex. Playing music during sex (which always distracted me enormously, making it impossible for me to do anything) is now a joy, and I also feel freer in the sauna now because I no longer have that small, cramped pile of unhappiness, but just a normal penis that looks like other men's. What a relief.

What's absolutely amazing is that having sex twice in one evening, and even an evening with three orgasms (I just had to try it), is now possible. It's so incredibly satisfying to no longer be agonizing over things because I'm afraid of failing, of disappointing my wife; I can actually do it now. And my wife is absolutely thrilled with how things are now. She no longer just has my fingers and tongue, but also my penis. She's going to really enjoy it soon on our first holiday after the surgery, where we'll have all the time for each other, including new possibilities.

For others who have doubts or are afraid of the surgery... Do it. My life has truly changed completely when it comes to sex. The peace of mind I now have, because I'm no longer afraid of failing, disappointing my wife, or feeling embarrassed in places where others can see me naked (like a sauna or a nudist beach), is truly liberating. It's not just the sex that's much better; it's mainly the peace of mind and the tension surrounding sex that's completely gone. And that's wonderful.

I also want to express my gratitude to everyone here who posted about their experiences, as they convinced me to do it too. And also to everyone who answered my questions, as they also reassured me enormously.

Thank you all.

Implant is the AMS 700 LGX. Very happy with that.

Congratulations Brian, and welcome to the brotherhood!

You sound like one of the many brothers for whom an implant was not just an improvement, but truly life changing. It really is.

The best is yet to come, brother. I wish you and your wife many years of happiness.

Be well,
Leto
