I have not heard of anything imminent in the pipeline. Not in medications and not in hardware. And do you REALLY want to be the guinea pig that has the very first doses of a medication or the first version of a new device implanted? I’ll let them sort out the kinks first.

But what is guaranteed by waiting for possible maybe future “what-if” solutions is years of ED, disappointment, and missed opportunities for deeper relationships and great sex.

If your ED is bad enough that it is interfering with enjoying sex, go through the treatments. Pills, then shots, then implant. Don’t stop until you have reached a satisfactory solution. I have travelled that path and am thrilled with the outcome.

I dont mind being the guinea pig for medications but probably not for surgeries

My erections required constant stimulation, otherwise I would lose it. I also needed 100mg Viagra on an empty stomach, and sometimes that wasn't enough.

Try using the dilator for longer periods. Like even several hours at a time. If you get consistent relief from doing this, I reckon you're on the right path.

It took about 3-4 months after the implant for the pain to subside entirely. So it can take a VERY long time for the muscles in your pelvic floor to revert to their default settings after years of dysfunction.

I use the dilator but it starts feeling uncomfortable after about 10 minutes. On strong painkillers and muscle relaxants which dont really help ED.

to be honest I assumed all erections needed constant stimulation, but maybe that's because that's all I've known. I take 20 mg Cialis and can get an erection with stimulation for sex 90% of the time, but it doesnt last that long and will lose it due to sensitivity changes from the nerve and muscle dysfunction.
