Wooody's 1 yr update

Postby Wooody » Thu Feb 26, 2026 3:21 pm

Well bro's, it's been 1 yr since I went bionic and I can easily say I have no regrets and it's been well worth it. I'm really happy I did it. ED is no more. Size is right where I was pre-op, which is what I was my whole life. Sex is frequent and great with now wife (got married 2 months ago) and it's been everything I hoped for with the IPP.

My only complication was dealing with a hernia I developed about 4-5 months post op on my right side where the tube goes through my abdomen to the reservoir. I'm a former competitive body builder (stopped competing in '23) and had never had a hernia prior to this. My doctor told me I overdid it at the gym, pushed too much weight, too soon, after my surgery and I suspect he's right. I followed the 6 week wait but did start working pretty hard pretty fast. I definitely should have taken it easier on the weights after my recovery.

So, I found a good hernia surgeon and he and my IPP surgeon worked together to make sure the IPP was preserved and the hernia taken care of. I'm 4 months post op from that and slowly working myself back at the gym. I also had to take 3 weeks off of sex, which sucked, but back in the saddle now and feeling great!

Really happy with my Titan Classic!

Congratulations, Woody. I'm glad to hear your hernia has been taken care of. Does your surgeon suggest a different waiting period these days before hitting the gym, or is 6 weeks still the standard? Also, was your reservoir placed in the space of Retzius or a high submuscular location? I'm getting close to going with a Titan. Hoping for a great outcome like yours!

Congrats Woody! Stories like yours are what helped me take the plunge. I’m about to be at 6 weeks with my MPP on Tuesday, and SLOWLY (very slowly) figuring out some of main “day to day life” elements. The key one being concealment with the MPP. Things still sore too, but I’m fingers crossed that Hakky clears me for sex next Tuesday.

Good news Woody. Both on the IPP and the wife news! (Is that her in your avatar ? :)
56, Mild ED started 20 years ago, Pills very effective for first 12 years. Then High Blood Pressure made ED much worse. Pills inconsistent now. Dont like needles. Planning IPP now, probably Rigicon Infla10 AX, to be done overseas.

Congrats Wooody :D. Aside from the aberration with the hernia it sound like you're doing fantastic!
I'm a week away from my own 1 year anniversary and also really happy with my outcome.

Very happy for you, Woody. It's stories like this that give those considering an IPP encouragement and for those of us at the 6 week stage (where I am) lots of hope as well.
The whole thing cost me around $27k AUD, but I don't regret a thing. I'm happy with the implant and my progress to date. I didn't do much dick measuring but I'm happy with the size. The all-important thing is.....I got my sex life back.

Happy Bionic Dick Birthday Wooody!

I’m glad everything worked out and you were able to get your hernia repaired with having to replace the implant.

Also, congratulations on getting hitched and using your Bionic Weapon a lot!

Thanks! No, 6 weeks was recommended after both the IPP and hernia surgeries, and yes the reservoir was placed in the space of retzius. I was feeling great and the recovery went so much better than I expected I think I got a bit cocky at the gym and overdid it. Good luck to you if you go with a Titan!
