Pre implant, could you still get hard by yourself?

As the title says, I'm curious if any of you guys that have gotten an implant even though you could still get hard when taking care of yourself?.

The main issue for me is with sex. I take daily Cialis and have also tried the highest doses of Cialis and Viagra on demand, all with inconsistent and frustrating results.

There are times during sex where I will be really hard, then swap positions to her on top and sure enough, down it goes.

I've been considering an implant for a while but to be honest, it makes me question things because like i said, I am able to get hard for take care of myself. I do realise that there's quite a difference between taking care of yourself and love making session with your significant other.

I had no trouble getting hard to jerk off. But put any pressure on it and it would go down. I’d use a cock ring, cialis, and trimix and I could stay hard enough. The problem with venous leakage is that you can get hard but can’t keep it. What matters is being able to have sex. It’s great not to worry anymore and just focus on the pleasure!

Nope, got so bad, I only could climax using a vibrator. I could not climax with PIV sex, and got so flaccid hand and oral didn't work. I went down the Viagra/Calais road, which worked for a while, then became hit or miss, which seems to be what you are experiencing. I tried trimix & quadmix, also with very mixed results, not to mention that for me, the injections made my glans hurt, which is a real mood killer.

For me, I wish I had gone down the IPP route long before I did. That said, as you can see in my signature line, I'm 5 weeks post-op today with one week to go till activation. I know that post-activation, there will be a period of time where results will be mixed. But I know from the countless details posted here in FT, I will come out on the other side very satisfied (my wife as well).

I just regret wasting so much time and experiencing such frustrating and disappointing sexual episodes when there was a good solution available.

AussieGuy81, yes I could consistently get there partially -- just not enough for PIV. I'm very thankful for what the implant brought back to our sex life and relationship. Definitely worth giving serious consideration.
