VED with implant - is this a thing people do ?

I used VED before my first implant to give myself the greatest chance for a good healthy (and stretched) outcome.

I also used it before my latest revision for the same reason, but as I was researching, I found threads where people discussed using VED post-surgery.....after they had an implant.

I did not see any mention of the rationale for this. Is it to keep blood flow in the region, so as to keep cells and nerves from atrophying? or some such thing? As far as mechanically, it couldn't really accomplish anything once the implant is operative. (i wouldn't think)

.....and when I was doing it before the revision, the way it sucked flesh at the base of the penis in.....I would be concerned that it could damage tubing.

anyway.....I was just curious if VED with an implant was a "thing" .....and why

Use them for months before you get an implant for reason #1.

After implant for #2.

I too occasionally use a VED post surgery, my Doc was not keen on it but didn't tell me no. Im careful, don't pull on it like a mad man. Im interested in maintenance. I able to reach my original 20 something size with out much trouble. I then hold it for ten minutes. if/ when I need a revision I suspect I will get up sized a bit as at full inflation now there is no longer a stretch feeling. if a 2 implant doesn't come my way im perfectly fine with my current model it does every thing I need of it.

I still use my VED after, I do notice that if I don't seems the implant retracks into my body somewhat. So my reason is to keep as much of the implant stretched out as possible. If you have a ring on the base and don't use to much pressure you should be fine. I did cut the opening in the ring to make it wider at the base, so there is not pressure as much on the tubing.

Guys I suspect it's a language thing. I think he means when he was "20 something" in age.
In other words the size he was when he was in his twenties.

my implant was an 18 + 3 Rte, ie 21 cm installed.
a very average size

Have a Rigicon MPP was told not to use a VED after implant for fear of stretching the tissue too much.
