Lgx question.

Postby bigkernel » Thu Feb 19, 2026 3:14 pm

I was implanted abroad 3 weeks ago and was told to cycle I one more week here. I just did a follow up with a urologist here that wasn't in support of the surgery. He said everything's fine. The implant is currently partially inflated, but doesn't seat in the glands. I asked if the implant would lengthen and seat in the glands when inflated and he said the lgx doesn't lengthen. Anyone with the lgx, is that true? I was told my implant could potentially lengthen 4 cm and that when inflated it would seat I'm my glands at least.

the LGX does expand but depends on your tunica tissue. It will take time with cycling to see the expansion happen.

In terms of how it sits in the glans - you would need to inflate it up all much as you can to see. If placed improperly you can have a floppy glans

Right, so if I'm at 50 percent, and I inflate all the way it should lengthen and seat at least I hoping?

Not true in my experience. I have an LGX and coming up to 12 months post op. The LGX device itself can expand up to a point and is marketed as such. By how much is always up for debate. How far it can expand inside an actual penis depends on how much your internal tissue (tunica albuginea) can stretch with it. Once the device is pumped to the limits of your tunica it will stop expanding. You might feel more pressure if you continue pumping, but your dick won't elongate further in either length or girth, unless you can stretch your tunica further from regular cycling. Tunica expansion potential can be affected by things like how long you had ED, and whether there is any shortening from penile atrophy due to loss of nocturnal erections. If you were able to do pre op stretching with a VED, it can help reverse that depending on duration of ED and other factors, and enable implantation of the longest cylinders suitable for your anatomy.

Assuming you were sized and implanted correctly there is potential for recovering your pre op size. But it takes time and regular cycling. I was much shorter post op, maybe 4.5 inches to 5 inches BPEL. I started cycling my LGX at 6 weeks twice a day in a hot shower for 10-15 minutes. As soon as I could tolerate it I added a third session on as many days as possible. Initially 20-30 minutes but eventually for over an hour. At maybe just over 3 months I was pretty much back to my pre ED length/girth. But I continued to have tiny incremental gains after that. I'm a believer in regular aggressive cycling and still do it now.

At 3 weeks it's far too early to say if your glans position is correct. Initially I thought my cylinder tips were not far enough in, but now they are about halfway in when I'm flaccid and well over 3/4 when erect. Try not too worry about what a non-implant urologist told you about the LGX properties, but do keep up a good cycling regime.

Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m.
Recovery great but have a bend.

Right, thank you. My question is more that the length currently doesn't support the glans at all. They are floppy. When inflated more will the implant support them? I feel I may have been undersized.

With cycling very likely it will eventually support the glans, but no one can give you a guarantee. Based on my personal experience 3 weeks is too early to make a call that you are undersized. From memory my tips were barely inside the glans in the beginning, and the head was definitely floppy, but not hanging down. Now my glans is soft but very well supported, especially when erect. I have pretty aggressive pounding sex for up to an hour several times a week with no issues. If you are really concerned, or the glans looks abnormal in addition to being floppy, I would get an appointment with an experienced implant surgeon, not a general urologist.
