Hi Nick, I'm 24 days post-surgery, I had an 18 cm Titan implant. I measured 14 cm when pressed against my pubic bone. Right after the surgery it was 11 cm as far as I could get it pressed because my surgery was infrapubic and I'm swollen at the base of my penis. I activated my pump on the 9th and have had sex 3 times so far. The size hasn't changed much. When I'm aroused it reaches 12 cm. I believe we're at the beginning and you have a larger implant than mine, it will return to its normal size as soon as your body accepts the implant. Good luck to us!!!
54y DP at 50, DP surgery at 51. Loss 2.5 cm and DE. sex with the use of a ring. recovered the lost cm with 6M of ved. Titan OTR 18cm on Jan 26, 2026. size before: 14 cm length x 15 cm . Size 1 day post-surgery: 11 cm x 14.5 cm

Nick74, like others said it's way too early to draw any conclusions. I couldn't even start cycling until almost 8 weeks let alone any kind of normal sex. You still have a lot of healing to do. For me sex didn't feel 'normal' until almost 16 weeks. Hang in there, it really does keep getting better and better :)

Nick, you’re not alone, the first time we had PIV sex at 8 weeks, it was very disappointing. It hurt because I pumped up way beforehand to be ready, so by the time we got down to it, I already had discomfort. I don’t think I had enough pumps in, because it would bend when I was trying to penetrate her. The next couple days my dick throbbed with pain; I thought I had broken my dick!
I continued to cycle aggressively, even though it hurt a lot at the end of a 20 minute cycling session.
My docs protocol was twice a day 20 minutes each time, usually in the shower and I would also shave with it fully pumped.
I also would do extra cycling 3 to 4 days a week in a hot tub of water, covering my dick as much as possible.
I would inflate to 70% and bend it up and down and side to side for 5 minutes, then I would pump up to the max until I couldn’t get anymore partial pumps in and see how long I could go without crying uncle. I would do this cycling when my wife would be out for her morning walks. We’re empty nesters, so I didn’t have to worry about kids.
Nick, at 8 weeks I think I was about the same length as you are, at month 5 to 6, I was back to 6 to 6.25 inches.
I still cycle every day even if I’m not using it for sex.

Hang in there, you’re still early in your journey

LGXDownunder wrote:Nick, Yes as the other guys have said it's still very early in your recovery. I didn't start cycling until 6 weeks and tried having sex soon after. My performance sucked and it hurt. My erection was still much shorter than pre op, which made things awkward and often I would slip out. I didn't start to feel comfortable during sex until around 10 weeks, and even then it was very hit and miss. Sometimes I could climax, often I couldn't, and frequently it still hurt. We just persisted and eventually everything fell into place. Now it's great every time and was worth the wait, but there were times I worried that it wouldn't happen.

The early shortening is very common. My size had mostly returned by around three months-ish from memory, although I still made tiny incremental gains after that. I was very aggressive with cycling, and still am at nearly 12 months. I started with two sessions a day for 10-15 minutes in the shower. As soon as I could tolerate it I added a long session most days, initially for maybe 20-30 minutes. Over time I increased it to an hour or more, holding at the maximum inflation I could achieve. My dick would often ache so much I would have to stop the session early. Now I can go well over an hour before it starts to get uncomfortable, and I can push through that if desired. I'm a believer in stretching as much and often as possible. It's only anecdotal but I think that strategy may have helped restore my pre ED size.

My cylinder tips are a long way into my glans when erect. My erection is very stable and extremely hard at 100% pumped. But I only get significant glans engorgement from arousal during the last minute or two leading up to orgasm. Glans is otherwise soft but not floppy as it's well supported by the tips. Getting to that point took ages but now I'm loving it.

IMO you're only just warming up at the starting line. Give it time and try not to stress.

Thank you, brother. I really appreciate you taking the time to share all of that.

I’ll be honest I got a little depressed last night. The pain is one thing, but mostly it was the size that got into my head.Reading success stories like yours truly lifts my spirits and gives me strength for the future. It reminds me this is a process and that patience pays off.
Hearing that things fell into place for you and that you’re loving it now gives me hope that better days are ahead. I just need to stay consistent and trust the healing.
Grateful for this brotherhood.

God bless you, my brother. Truly.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story and your success. You have no idea how much that meant to me. Last night my spirit felt low, but reading your experience lifted me up and gave me hope again.
Hearing that you were in a similar place and eventually got your length back and found your rhythm gives me strength to keep pushing forward.
May God continue to bless you and your wife with health, intimacy, and many beautiful years together. I pray my journey follows a similar path — patience, persistence, and progress.
Grateful for this brotherhood.

Nick, all of us Bionic Brothers like to help where we can.
All of us heal different, it took me longer to heal and get to a point that I could leave it pumped to the max for more than an hour.
So, when you’re cycling using your doctor’s protocol, try staying pumped to the max until you can’t endure the discomfort.
Pump up as much as you can and let it stretch some and after about 5 minutes try to get some more pumps. You’ll be amazed that you can still get in some partial pumps after 5 minutes.
Glad I could help,

Nick,

I can relate very well to your situation. I was implanted with a 20 cm Coloplast as well. Before surgery, I measured a little over 6 inches and now currently it seems closer between four and 5 inches. My wife and I have only had intercourse once so far and it honestly kind of sucked but also as I have been cycling aggressively it was very painful at first and now just moderately painful so much of what I’ve read has reminded me that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Whether I get back to pre-surgery length I know that I will have a forever reliable erection, and that will be enough of a life change itself. Just know that I’m in your same boat, but I’m also trying to have a little more peace and perspective of the whole thing slow and steady, my brother, cheers!

Brother, thank you for sharing that. It actually helps more than you know.

I’m right there with you 20 cm Coloplast as well, and the temporary size drop messes with your head. That’s been the hardest part for me mentally. But you’re absolutely right… this is a marathon, not a sprint.
Hearing you say you’re already moving from very painful to moderately painful tells me your body is adapting. That gives me hope too. I keep reminding myself the same thing you said even if length takes time, having a reliable erection for life is a blessing in itself.
We’re in the same boat, brother. Slow and steady. Keep cycling, keep healing, and let time do its thing. We’ll get there.
