The pills are not supposed to work over the course of the following day. They work for a few hours after your first take them. This is well known and it's how the drugs are designed. The only person who can decide if you should get an implant is you. But I also think this is the kind of thing you need absolute certainty on, one way or the other.

Yes youre right that I have to decide. But I'm in a tough spot between pills working still - albeit not as great as it used to years ago - and possibility of implant which I fear for potential loss of sexual sensation and orgasm.

Okay, here's your framework. It looks like pills are still a good option for you, albeit just not perfect. After that, I would seriously move on to shots. When that fails, move to the implant. You want to be in a position where each step is inevitable. When pills actually stop working, move to shots. If (not when) shots stop working, then consider the implant. Until then, don't keep doing this to yourself. You'll drive yourself crazy.

I tend to agree with this, macoza. If you can still get an erection with the help of pills (especially since they're so convenient compared to shots) I would say put off the implant to another time.

But keep in mind that although the pills work they work only on the day I take them. Their power doesn't carry over into the next day. For example, let's I respond well to viagra on the same day I take it but it doesn't carry over to the next day. For example, if I take a pill today I get an erection.. But I'm still unable to get an erection tolmorrow. When I'm with a girl I want to be able to have sex at night and in the morning, not every other day.

When I visited my gf overseas 6 months ago, I used a double dose of viagra.... but i was so nervous that I didn't get an erection.

Considering this, do you think I should still get an implant?

Yeah youre right. Its very confusing when youre at the fork in the road where pills work but not as great as before and the reliability of an implant.

My doc did tell me that he's had a few patients who did respond to pills and injections but decided to still get an implant regardless. Its not only a confusing time but I'm also scared if the pill dont work when I bring a lady home. Thats the ultimate test though.

But I'm still deciding to get an implant. I just have to talk to my doc about it to make sure..
