Lost size after implant - How much to gain from cycling?

Postby twosigma » Sun Feb 15, 2026 4:54 pm

Hi,

I am 4 weeks out from my implant, coloplast titan. Compared to immediately pre-op, I have lost at least 1 inch of length. I started cycling now (currently cycling until its unbearable). I don't understand how this size loss occurs as I seem to be appropriately sized based on cylinders going into glans.

Is this much size loss normal? How much length did you gain from cycling?

Hello, I had my implant done 20 days ago, and I lost about 3 cm. I had 14 cm and now I have 11 cm, I got a Titan 18 cm implant. I started cycling with the pump around the 8th day, and haven't noticed anything very significant so far. Using the ved (a type of vibrator), it's 15 cm. Before the implant, with the ved it reached 17.5 cm, but that's a fictitious measurement. Today, when I get excited, it reaches 12.5 cm, but it goes back to 11 cm soon after. I've already had sex with my wife 3 times, on the 11th day, the 14th day, and today, and it's improving each time. I believe that with time I'll recover the lost bits. Rest assured that we'll soon be back to our previous measurements. When your doctor gives you the go-ahead, start cycling and use a ved to stimulate growth if your doctor authorizes it.

I am 12 days out from my Titan implant. It’s clear that I have a lot of swelling around the base. Obviously this will make things look shorter than they’re really are. At this point, I don’t feel it makes sense to try to take a measurement because of the swelling. I can’t press to the bone.

You can return to your previous size from cycling. But the cylinders are not going to gain length. They are what they are. I can see how you might gain some girth because of the pressure and outward pushing of the cylinders. Again, just returning you back to about where you were. I had some slight Peyronies so I can see it further potentially pushing past where I was.

So when people say that you are gaining length, it seems you really just pushing things back into place. I can feel the tips near my glands so I know that I am right sized. I wouldn’t expect them to go beyond that or push longer. But I can see that my skin and tissue around my penis might eventually settle down lower on the cylinders, making me re-gain “lost” length. Would be helpful if someone had a clear understanding of the mechanics of this. Am I missing something?

Hi. There is a ton of data out there, alot if it mentioned on this Board, for you to research i would advise watching Dr's Clavell and Perito's YouTube Channel.

I am slowly regaining my size through patience, time, cycling and exercise. All of this advice I received from our bionic brothers on here. The best advice...patience.

I am slowly getting back to 6" L and girth is already back. You have to remember that you are very swollen inside and out and it will take several months...perhaps anywhere from 6 - 12 months for it to resolve itself. Also remember that the cylinders will take time to soften and unfold as well as the tubing settling.Cycling and patience are the key! Also, make sure you are stretching down the pump and tubing frequently. There are many YouTube videos from many reputable clinics, hospitals and doctors to show you how to do this.

I guess my rhetorical question is that if you got an implant that means you had some pretty serious ED pre-op. Like the rest of us. So how honest are any of us with ourselves about our pre-op size when fully erect. You dig? :)

Hang in there. Be patient. Cycle. Have sex when you're cleared...that's the best possible cycling.
