Also, from what I've observed (including on YouTube), he seems to frequently recommend the AMS 700 LGX model to many patients or the Rigicon Rigi10 malleable for those with infected implants, and not favor Coloplast as much as before. Why might that be?
Any thoughts on that?

He straight up told me he’d give me whatever implant I wanted, BostonScientific or Coloplast. It was my dumbass decision to go for the LGX. That said, I do think the LGX is his go to when there’s no patient preference, probably because many guys have been suffering with ED for years and the LGX is a length expander.
40. Implanted July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

Ask him why he doesn’t use Coloplast.

He told me

1) he prefers the impregnated anti biotics with the AMS. Less post op infections
2) the AMS looks and feels more natural. No folds/ dog ears
67 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.
Implanted 4/4/2025. AMS 700CX 21cm with .5 extenders

That wasn’t my experience. He said he prefers the AMS products, and the decision between the CX and LGX is driven by the needs of the patients anatomy. He said the length advantages on the LGX are a little overstated in the marketing materials.

Sure, but my take away from that isn’t that he wouldn’t give you a Coloplast if you wanted one. Yes, he said to me as well that he prefers BostonScientific products, but that he would give me a Titan as well if I wanted one.
