AMS700 TENACIO PUMP RECALL - LIFESPAN

Postby staphylococcusecoli » Tue Feb 10, 2026 3:01 am

I recall some members mentioning last year that the Tenacio pump was cycle-tested for 10K cycles and 10 years of use. If anyone has access to the brochure, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could share it. I'm also curious does the AMS 700 Tenacio pump recall have any connection to the pump's lifespan or is it comparable to the MS Pump? Thank you for any insights you might have.

Just discovered this, but it lacks details on reliability data through cycle testing.

staphylococcusecoli, mine is on the recall list but not affected. What I was told is that the early defect was related to ease of pumping -- no mention of it affecting lifespan. Since mine is working fine so I turned down my Dr's offer to replace it, and he thought that was reasonable.
