Gentle Cycling vs Aggressive

Postby edjohn » Thu Feb 05, 2026 1:56 am

Anybody think long and gradual cycling works better than pump to the max and hold as long as you can stand? I was just thinking about how yoga and dance requires gradual progression and people get incredibly flexible as long as they just take it slow and keep increasing slightly.

If you have the time, wouldn't going to 80% and then adding a squeeze every ten minutes or something make more sense than even what the doctors are saying?

I tried a modified version of your suggested pump routine and believe it has worked best so far. I pump for 5 minutes at 3-4 pressure, 5 minutes at 5-7 pressure and then drop back for a total of 30 minutes. In 1/2025, Dr. Clavell removed CX implant inserted by Dr. Cornell in 2015 and inserted a Titan. I'm very pleased with Titan. I saw in your signature that you are looking at testosterone supplementation. I have been on a wide variety of prescription drugs for this and have been receiving Testopel injections since 2015. It is the best by far. If you want patient experience info, let me know.

I am doing subQ 40 mg with 500iu hCG 3x a week. Seems to be a good stable regimen for me, but still need full bloods. I have tested well for TT and so on but I am going to check other markers like DHEA and pregnenolone next.

edjohn, FWIW, I chose to go gradually and it took around 9 months to get back to pre-op size. I have no regrets :)
- I pumped until I felt pain, not a lot, and stopped until it was almost gone.
- Then added more mini-pumps until the low level pain returned.
- Repeat, repeat, repeat. Results are in the sig line below.

Eventually the pump bulb would get hard as a marble and I couldn't mini-pump more. Now I still cycle and/or have sex daily, but little to no pain anymore. Best wishes !

- Chuck

Edjohn,'
I was on HCG for 8 years because testosterone injections reduced my sperm count drastically and my then wife and I wanted to have more children. I was also on pergolin for years. After she delivered twin daughters in 2001, I began testosterone gel, cream, and finally testopel. HCG worked but inconsistently. Moreover, the need to take it 3 times per week and the need to refrigerate it was a problem for me because I had to travel for work. Good luck with it.
