I've had a Coloplast Titan implant for several years. Recently someone commented that they've never been able to pump until the bulb was flat.
I didn't even know that was possible. I pump until I can't pump anymore. Is the pump bulb really supposed to flatten?

Flatten Pump
68, married 49 years. Robotic Prostatectomy with 50% of nerves spared 8/21. Cancer returned 4/22. 38 Radiation treatments. Cancer returned 3/23 and began ADT Treatment. Coloplast Titan implant 20cm + 2cm with Dr. Paul Perito 10/22.

If it flattens you are out of fluid but good surgeons give you more than enough.

Oct 7, 2025 - Coloplast Titan XL - Touch pump - 26cm - 0.5cm RTE with Jonathan Clavell. Still sorting out TRT; plan to try a "modified natty" approach without injections.

My titan classic pump flattened the first time about 12 months after implanting. Apparently ran out of fluid and at that point, I stopped cycling for anything except sex or masturbation. Agreed with previous comment. At this point you will not gain anything. I was already back to my previous size and a little xtra girth so was happy with it at that point. Always wondered if I could have gained a little more had I had a little xtra fluid though. Been doing this for 3 years now so it’s not an issue. The first couple years I would still feel the stretch as I got to the out of fluid stage, however the last many months I’ve stopped feeling the stretch at the limit…
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott,and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

Do you feel like the implant is less hard now that you run out of fluid, or is it still rock hard at that point?
