Edema and Implants

Postby stewie77 » Fri Jan 30, 2026 8:28 pm

Is it possible to experience penile edema, when using your implant? Not talking about swelling from surgery. I mean after everything has healed and youre back in the game :-)

I’ve never read anyone here saying that it happened to them. But is it possible? Sure, you could whack your dick with a hammer and all kinds of bad things could happen. But it’s not something you should be worried about.
Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Edema is caused from excess fluid in a body part. I don't think a penis can become edematous unless some accident occurs.
Now I do get engorged after sex. That's blood however, and it goes away after a bit.

Yeah other than some type of blunt force trauma accident I would be surprised if it could happen. I definitely had edema more than once from over pumping a VED but nothing so far with my implant at close enough to 11 months post op. With a VED I think a lot of pressure can be concentrated at one spot. With an implant the pressure is spread along the entire length of your corpora. So it is probably a lot kinder to the tissue.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 22 then profound ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m.
Recovery great but have a bend.
