Pre-cycle test???

Postby MissionInflatable » Sat Jan 31, 2026 1:57 am

I'm scheduled to see my nurse/doc on 11 Feb 26 - I was implanted on 13 Jan with a 22cm Titan, infrapubic.
It's a telephone appointment as my doc is in Melbourne and I'm in Perth, on the other side of Australia.
I'm currently in week 3, post-op. I'm still around 30-50% inflated
I feel like it would be a good idea to try a little deflation, to see if I can find the buttons, and then inflate it back again before I speak to the nurse / doctor. I have religiously followed all Doc's instructions and things seem to be going as planned and this would be just a tester prior to speaking to them.

The only concern I have is that the pump seems to be sitting sideways.

Keen to hear any views on this?

The Titan touch tends to sit sideways because the reservoir tube is in the middle front of the pump (top of the triangle of tubes). Clavell put my reservoir on the right so the button is on the right(ish). It rotates a bit often. If you know which side the reservoir went or can feel the reservoir tube since it runs around the base of your dick somewhere that might tell you which side your button is on. It's annoying but not a problem

Thanks for the info.
I don't have the 'Touch' - I've got the Classic pump with the two bars that have to be pressed to deflate. The tubing runs around the far left of my testicles. I'm approaching 3 weeks post-op and haven't been able to identify the bars yet. I'm hoping it wont be an issue, and having the Classic pump sit horizontally wont be a problem.

In that case it should be much easier for you than for us and we still figure it out every time… if we grab it and only feel that hard curved sides, we just rotate 90 degrees. You will do the same but I am sure the bars are easier to press.

My view is that one should follow their doc instructions religiously. You’ve done this so far.

If the instructions are to have the phone visit before you begin cycling, follow those directions. A “tester” is still cycling. Doing that would not be following their instructions.

In Feb 11th You can deflate while you are on the phone with them. That way they can guide you if you are struggling.

Alternately, if you REALLY feel like you are ready to start now, email them and ask if it’s OK if you try to start cycling early.

I completely identify with the desire to get things moving along. But you are doing fine and you’ll be able to cycle when the time is right. Just hang in there and be patient.

Sounds like you are exactly where I was at at the same point . I was really worried about not being able to deflate either. I waited right up to the morning of my call with Roxy but before she called I gave in and deflated. It was much easier than I thought it was going to be. I also immediately reinflated to about where it had been. I waited until after speaking to her before trying out max inflation.
She did not appear surprised when I told her I had already done the test. Also based on the rest of the conversation she gave me clearance to resume sex at the 4 week mark.
I was not so good at sticking with instructions on that one and gave in after 4 or 5 days. It was also Xmas so I wanted a treat :-)
