How hard is it pressed? Is damage possible?

nick40, I haven't heard of a deflate button (or pump) being damaged by pressing it hard. Maybe if someone used some blunt screwdriver-like object to press it far below the surface of the pump ?? I have the Tenacio pump and the button has to be pressed firmly, with some pressure, but I assume that's to prevent it from getting accidentally pressed/deflated when in use. Are you concerned that you are having to press yours so hard that it might get damaged ? If so, have you gone in to have your Dr evaluate what's going on ?

I just think I pressed it a little and it inflated right away at the beginning, now it needs a little more pressure.

The more pressure you have pumped up the harder it is to activate pump

The more pressure you have pumped up the harder it is to activate pump. After a while it becomes very easy to pump and release.

You could help yourself, get more relevant answers, by specifying which pump you have.
Rigicon, AMS MS or Tenacio, Titan OTR or Classic - They all have their unique quirks.

But in general you will probably damage your scrotum skin before damaging the release mechanism on any of the pumps currently available.
A-70, M-45, ED due to NS-Prostatectomy in 2012 and radiation for PCa return in 2016
Pills & injections ran their course. Implanted Nov’22 - Dr. Eid. Titan Classic 22cm, Ectopic reservoir
Only regret; Not getting the implant sooner.
