Tenacio Pump

Postby Valdekio » Wed Jan 28, 2026 10:09 pm

So I am a little over 4 months post top and I have a question for those with the tenacio pump specifically. I am able to pump up and get a very firm erection which is nice. Rick hard even if that's where I want I want it which is always the case because my wife does like it that way. My question is this....Isn't the pump supposed to become somewhat easier as I continue cycle? I have to admit that I am able to get the stiffy but I have to use both hands and I don't think there is any way I could do it with one hand only. Even with both hands it seems to take quite a bit of pressure still and pump doesn't really seem to be softening too much. Just curious about how long it takes for it to get a bit easier. Some days it does seem a little easier than others though.

Valdekio, sorry to hear you're still having challenges with pumping. When you're using two hands, are you using both to squeeze the bulb, or, are you using one hand to brace or hold the pump, while using the other to squeeze the bulb ?
Mine became softer and easier to pump after about 2 weeks of cycling. I wouldn't call it 'soft', but its pretty easy to inflate.
My apologies if the following is duplicate info. Although very unlikely, have you checked whether yours is on the recall list ? A small number of pumps, that are on a very small list, are affected by the recall which can make it hard to pump. Mine is on the list, but wasn't affected.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I checked right away about the recall issue and fortunately mine was not on the list. I called Boston Scientific directly. It's definitely doable, it does take a decent amount of force mostly though. Some days it does seem easier or softer than others. I see my urologist on Feb. 3 so I will touch base with him as well.

Valdekio, glad to hear yours is not on the recall list. That eliminates one possibility.

I may have been editing/adding this question when you were responding. "When you're using two hands, are you using both to squeeze the bulb, or, are you using one hand to brace or hold the pump, while using the other to squeeze the bulb ?"

Anxious to hear what BS has to say.

I use both hands to squeeze. I don't think it would work very well just using one hand for the squeezing.
