Hey Rider1400.. Appreciate your response. So I'm 55.

I'll try another viagra tomorrow to see how that goes.

If I do get an implant I expect to have sex in a month and a half after healing. I'm in no way going to wait many many months, with all due respect.

Someone on this site said that having a natural erection is better than an implant. Is this true? I know its a dumb question but I got to know from your experience.

Looking forward to your response!

Sure, having a blood filled throbbing hard natural erection was most likely better, BUT…. I haven’t had one of those since I was early 40s. Truly don’t even remember what it was lik. Maybe similar to an injected dick when I got the units perfect… but that was rare and far between. The implant is much better than I’ve had in at least 15 years and that’s with the issues I’m having now with the ill placed reservoir and tips poking my wife because they are placed too low in the glans and likely slightly undersized. I regained my original length by 8 months and actually exceeded my girth by just over a quarter inch all the way down my shaft! Love my bionic dick and really enjoy never worrying about it. I will maintain an IPP for as long as I can physically have sex.

Macoza, have you had your testosterone checked lately? I’ve been on TRT for over 8 years. My numbers were in the low 100s and since being on injections I’ve been around 8-900.

Hi elbowroom.. I didn't know that my threads were a bother. It's just that I'm very nervous being stuck at the crossroads with this implant issue now that I show a somewhat surprisingly favorable response.

Hope you understand. If you find a few of my threads are repetitive just ignore them or pm me and we can discuss. Appreciate the input.

So in my case that I do have favorable nocturnal wood, and am showing a response to viagra that hard enough for sex, do you feel I should still get an implant?

If yes, and since I've had issues with trimix, do you think I can benefit from quadmix? As a reminder, I've had to inject a lot of trimix and I don't like to inject. But if it's more practical than an implant, let me know what you think.

Thanks, looking forward. I wish we could talk on the phone if possible. Let me know if you can too.

Hi, are you able to have pain-free sex with the sharp points? What can be done about it? Do you need a revision?

Both of these questions should be answered by a good urologist.

I dont understand your question. By "sharp points" if you mean injections, its a crap shoot. Since I dont know exactly what my right dose is, I'm basically guesstimating that amount. For example, the last time I injected was with 40 units of trimix and I was able to produce an erection but it lasted 15 minutes - this was back in September. When I injected again 2 days later with the same dose, anticipating sex with my gf, I didn't get an erection. Definitely some nervousness is involved, no question.

So its a crap shoot as I said. Its strange but definitely frustrating as hell.

macoza wrote:Hi guys. I have a rescheduled surgery coming up but I'm not sure of 2 things. So I have 2 questions:

1. Just so you know, my length is 6 inch while my girth is 5.75 inch. Which specific device (AMS or Coloplast) do you feel is better for me?

2. During the night I get wood that lasts a bit and gets hard enough for penetration. The problem is that during the say I don't get hard and I dont have wood. Do you think people in my situation would still benefit to get an implant?

Only you can know when it's right to get an implant. When you re sick of dealing with what you have or don't have then you'll know it's time. A natural hard on is definitely better than an implanted one. I am only 4 months out so I can't say definitively but the sensation is along the penis is different. Don't get me wrong, I can have satisfactory sex with my wife no problem but when she does foreplay with me the sensation along the underside of my penis is still somewhat numb and uncomfortable. I am hoping that changes with time. The pump takes up a large portion of my nut sac so foreplay around the ball area is kind of a moot point as well. These are things I can live with though since my performance in the bedroom had become fairly pathetic and quite frankly I was sick of it. I am very happy to now be able to provide my wife and myself with a functioning dick that allows us to have sex whenever we want for as long as we want.

Back to what I said earlier… when the frustration of inconsistent erections(ED) gets the best of you and you can’t deal wigh it any more it’s time. Nobody can give you a definitive answer. It’s your decision. I was probably having acceptable sex 50% of the time on injections but to me that was unacceptable! It was affect wife and my relationship and had for years. There were lots of factors involved and I finally made the decision I was done with it all and went w an implant! Never looked back. Made my mind up and it was done. Only wish I had used a better surgeon. Getting it fixed(revision ) in two weeks!
