Pump wont open even with extreme pressure

I am desperate now 11 weeks after surgery and pump wont open how hard I press. The bulb stays hard and no fluid is moving.
Otherwise everything is ok, now I ave to travel all the way to Paris so the Dr. can try to activate.
What can be the cause of it and can I do something. I have done the pulldown and the pump is easy to catch.

Does Rigicon have a patient hotline you can call? Coloplast and AMS both have helplines that patients can contact with questions about their devices.

I’m not familiar with your specific device, so I don’t have detailed information to share, but I would start by contacting Rigicon directly. Did you receive any materials about your device at the time of implantation? For example, I received a wallet card stating that I have an implanted device, along with a phone number for the Surgical Support Department.

If you haven’t already reached out to the company, that would be the next step. Please let us know what you find out.

My dr has a very competent assistant that I can email. She usually replies within 1 day unless she is in surgery with the dr. Any chance that your dr has such an assistant?

Have you tried in a hot shower or bath getting everything very pliable, then do a fast hard squeeze on the pump, hopefully that will work.

I recommend pressing the deflate button and then squeeze your shaft to wring out any fluid. After that when you squeeze the bulb you should feel a squish and the valve opens up. It sounds like your new pump is jammed. If this method works, I suggest cycling the device twice a day even if you only inflate to 30%, just something to break in the valve. I also recommend using a microfiber rag for grip of the bulb and padding on the skin.

Thank you all for your advices. As for Rigicon I had to use a contact form and their reply was they refer to your surgeon.
Yesterday I managed to get a hold on deflating button and the pump, when I pressed both at the same time I could for the first time feel some tiny fluid moving back and forth but nothing went through to cylinder.
This required tremendous pressure and of course hurts like hell so you wont be able to perform this several times in a row. In addition it's tricky and your balls are in your way.
Scheduled flight to Paris tomorrow to see the dr. on Monday. Right now I am tired of this sh...t.

Problem fixed today at dr. office. Thank god without to much pain. Se result with pics under topic. Finally with pictures (part 2+3)

richard_goes_bionic, if you're in the states please keep in mind that Rigicon Infla 10 series just entered clinical trials phase here in the US.

You might want to consider establishing some sort of relationship the participating doctor closest to your home so in case you'd have any other implant related issue (let's hope not) you wouldn't have to scramble to fly across the pond to Paris. Just saying.

whatevery, thanks for the info, but I am from Europe so it is not that far to travel for me.

chuck, the problem was stuck valve, he had to press extremely hard and hold it as long as possible, so it opened. I tried more to pump and this did not do the job and when you press yourself you dont go all in because of the pain, the outside person does not feel anything so this makes the tiny different.
