Day 8 after revision surgery
It’s now been eight days since Dr. Eid replaced my broken Titan OTR with the older and, according to Dr. Eid, more robust model, the Titan Classic.
The healing process is certainly going faster than after my original implant surgery five years ago. Things are still tender and a bit uncomfortable, but I would no longer describe it as pain.
Except one thing: pressing the bulb still hurts. Dr. Eid says regular cycling is not necessary after revision surgery, but, I’m eager to test that the device works, and impatient to have erections again, so I’ve inflated it twice. The second time went a lot better than the first: I was able to pump it a lot harder and then left it inflated for twenty minutes, while taking a bath, without much discomfort.
Seeing my dick coming back is making me horny, so yesterday, I also tried gently masturbating. In spite of the tenderness, it felt mainly good, and I had no difficult getting myself off. After my original implant surgery, I didn’t feel comfortable doing it till day 12; this time it was day 7, so, yes, the healing process definitely seems to be going faster.
I also like my new flaccid better than the one I had after my implant failure. The completely drained cylinders kinked and crinkled, making my flaccid look so unsubstantial. Now it looks a bit fuller again, even when I deflate it as hard as I can. I like the look of it, and the feel of it in my hand. It still doesn’t quite dangle the way a non-implanted flaccid would, but I know that that will improve over the coming months, as the material in the cylinders softens up,

I’m also happy to now have the Classic pump, instead of the OTR. GoodWood is definitely right that the Classic one feels more natural. The difference is not the bulb itself, but the valve block on top of it. The OTR has squared-off edges and a release button that feels very much like the button on a technical device; you cannot miss that it’s an artificial, man-made thing. The valve block on the Classic feels like, well, not much like anything at all, just like part of the bulb. Because of that, it was a little harder for me to identify exactly where to press to deflate, but now that I’ve done it a couple of times, I don’t foresee it being any problem going forward. Rather, I’m sure it will soon be second nature.
As a final item on this list of things I feel good about: Dr. Eid shaved a smaller area this time. After my original surgery, I was shaved up to the navel, This time, I still have my happy trail down to just an inch above the root of my dick. I like having body hair; the less of it that’s missing, the better.
Now I can barely wait to start using my cock again.
