Wow, I've made it to 11 months now (Feb 18th will be 1 year). This is a milestone I was beginning to think I'd never reach. You can go back and look at all my issues but in a nutshell. First implant lasted maybe a week before issues had revision 2 months later that one lasted approximately 6 months. Meanwhile insurance denied coverage after the second surgery ( even though I confirmed coverage beforehand ).
After a year of fighting insurance they paid the prior surgeries and I got a settlement from them that covered my surgery with Dr Hakky about 14 months or so after the second implant the ad failed. ( I believe both failures were errors by my Dr at that time - that's why I went to Dr Hakky so there wouldn't be any errors )
Then after Dr Hakky had done the implant several months later we find out my implant is on the recall list but since it's working right now we're going to let it be until it starts to act up, I don't want a 4th surgery in about 3 years. So yes I'm pretty stoked about this one pretty much making it this far.
11 months now!

Re: 11 months now!
Well done John, after that it sounds like all is going well. I'm a couple of weeks behind you and very happy.
Fingers crossed the recall becomes a non event and yours is unaffected.

That's great! Sure is a bummer you had to go through so many surgeries to finally get one that works. Is there a recall on those devices? If it is manufacturers defect, they should pay.
