I'm very undecided as to which device to get for my rescheduled surgery. I originally had my surgery scheduled in Jan but because of the nurses strike in NYC I had to reschedule it for Feb.n. I have some questions please....
1. For those who've had both AMS and Titan. were there any issues with the Titan that you didn't experience when you had AMS or vice versa?
2. How do you like your Titan compared to your AMS or vice versa?
3. How sore and how much pain did you endure after the surgery?
4. Did you experience dog ears? I read that AMS doesn't have them. Is this true?

I found that fascinating too but it definitely doesn’t make it easier to choose.
I think the best advice for newbies is
A) trust your surgeon (as long as he is high vol.)
B) go AMS if you want to be a grower AND are not large enough to NEED a Titan
C) go Titan if you are fairly large and/OR prefer to show
Both get plenty hard enough to fuck with.

With AMS... I don't think CX grows much, does it? CX and Titan are similar in function I think. There are pros and cons with both. I think Titan is generally gets harder than CX but CX is plenty hard too. CX is less infection prone than Titan but differences are marginal. Aesthetics are... from what I've seen I personally prefer CX but again it really is a toss-up.
In one of his clips Clavell says that he never seen Titan falter but we have members on this forum that had issues with Titan in that regard too. Nothing is forever, right, and every product in the world could have a lemon. One thing is certain though, every surgeon has closer relationship with one company or the other (a surgeon told me that) so naturally s/he would "push" his/her preferred company product. Be skeptical when they tell you that one is better than the other. They all have pros and cons. Still, you probably would be well advised to go with the product that you surgeon implants more and thus has more experience and comfort with. That should be your main criteria for decision imo. Still doesn't guarantee you anything, but nothing in life does.
Both CX and Titan suppose to help you to get girthier.
LGX on the other hand is different. It is a grower. But it's suppose to be not as hard as the other two. That being said I had Show and Tell with 3 LGX recipients and all seem to be very happy about their "rigidity". I think it largely depends on your size.
LGX is lighter in weight than the other two. The larger your dick is the more axial weight (another surgeon term) it would apply on the implant. This is just common sense. Thus if size-wise you have an impressive instrument as is you probably want to stay away LGX. Those of us with more modest dimensions (I suspect everything under 6", but the smaller the better) would stand a good chance to increase in length with LGX.
Not necessarily with girth though. It still might if at the onset you're not very girthy. But there is a limit. If you're girthy as is there is a good chance that you even might lose a little with LGX.
These are basically your choices as far as I can see. I'm sure I forgot to mention something.
Oh yea, the other thing to consider, especially if you're self-paid. The 3rd company, Rigicon, just entered clinical trial phase in the US. All more famous hot-volume American doctors seem to be part of it but as far as I know only one of them has any hands on experience with it, and even that experience is rather marginal (20 implants or so few years ago). Also, Rigicon only pays for the price of the implant. The rest of expenses (doctor's fee, etc) are on you. Look at it as it only pays for parts but not for labor.
I tried to look into it somewhat. On paper AX, Regicon equivalent to LGX, seem to have its advantages over LGX. Reports from Europe, Australia and the rest of the world however don't support justifying the risk imo. Too many people complain of something gone wrong.
Rigicon's answer to CX and Titan, called X, doesn't get as much negative feedback however as AX seem to. On the other hand why take a chance with something less known when you have two established well-known brands to choose from? Also, LGX definitely gets more negative feedback than CX and Titan do too. It doesn't mean that it gets a lot of negative feedback (none of them do, really). I'm talking just in comparison with the other two.
It make sense though if you think about it. LGX (and purportedly AX, although I haven't heard of any reports with AX in regard to successful length growth) is expandable implant, and as such is more complex functionality wise than the other non-expandable two (three). It's probably more difficult to size up because no surgeon can predict how much it would grow and I suspect one should keep closer eye on it due to its expanding abilities than you would on the other two. Some people with larger dicks still get it hoping that it would help them grow more and get unhappy with the results and its rigidity, although I communicated with few larger-size men that had very good experience with LGX too.
I also have a feeling that expandable LGX is higher maintenance than non-expandable CX and Titan. Got to probably cycle more, do Perito exercise, and so on and so forth, especially those with larger dicks. I 'Show and Tell'ed with one guy that went from atrophied 4.5" to close to 7" in 4 years of having LGX. Not bad, eh?
In any case LGX apparently is more complex. Some surgeons, including very high volume surgeons shy away from it. I also know that some surgeons in the US ask you to sign an extra liability waiver if you insist of going with LGX, like I intend to do.
This is the scope of what I learned since I discovered this great community. Love you guys! Truly do. Hope to repay in kind when I get mine.

Re: Questions about AMS vs TIitan
The LGX is not going to significantly make your dick bigger, IMO. You have what you have, your stretched length is unlikely to change. If you are sized correctly and aggressively your results will be similar with all implants.
Just my opinion.

Re: Questions about AMS vs TIitan
All implants expand some and can give you gains in the right surgeons hands but it’s undeniable the LGX and AX have more lengthwise expansion. The only time you see guys coming out with much shorter post op length and then regaining it all is with the LGX it seems. That said no surgeon is massively over measuring to where you will gain 2” beyond your natural length… most likely they view it as far too dangerous (erosion). But it is still safe to say if you find a surgeon willing to work with your intent to gain some length, he is going to use an LGX. The Titans and others can do this to a degree, but not quite as much. Their advantage is width and hardness (slightly).

Re: Questions about AMS vs TIitan
Sure this will not help but I just did a consult with Clavell and asked him about possibly changing from my now Titan to a coloplast product. He point blank told me if I like the Titan don’t change. Said I wouldn’t be happy with anything else. Said he would say the same if I had a coloplast. So you basically get used to what you have an it just don’t matter. You’ll be a shower no matter and it feels like the whole world is looking at it the first few months but I now think it’s all you…. It’s new it’s different…it shows a lot.. after 8-10 or 12 months you forget about it all together. It didn’t change except for being a little softer…. I just got used to it and now it’s the normal. Anxious to see what my new Titan will feel like compared to the almost 4 year old soft, broke in one I have now. I’ll be posting about it a bunch after I get hopefully on February the 11th pending insurance approval which Clavell office said is a give me on revisions with same insurance and same company
