Where is your reservoir protruding and where is the possible erosion, in the glans?

Directly under my beltline just left of center. And it’s basically under the skin! Tips don’t show unless I pull up right on the tip of my glans penis then the implant tips stick out on the lower side of my glands. Already saw Clavel and he definitely can fix it and said how but that’s for another post I will do as soon as my insurance approval.should be within a week. He also said he rarely gets denied a revision if I have same insurance as I had… which I do.
Was a great visit and very impressed with Dr Clavell!!

Thanks for the update man. Sent you a PM.
55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

Think I’m slightly undersized, and possibly some erosion. Not sure what’s the exact issue. Surely Clavell can shed some light on what’s the issue and if a revision is necessary. Will be interesting to see if it will be covered by my BCBS. I’m on same plan and a the same company I was 3-1/2 years ago when I got the implant. It causes me quite a bit of discomfort and the tips dig into my wife in any position other than straight up missionary. Will start a new post after Monday to report findings.

Hey Rider,

How are you doing? What did Dr Clavell say?
Pills failed in my 30's. Moved on to Trimix. Had a priapism at age 40 on Tri-Mix. End of Tri-Mix.
Implanted Titan 22 cm with Dr. Tajkarimi in Washington D.C. on 4/21/21. Implant failed
12/12/24.
Currently considering options and awaiting revision.

Hey Rider, what did Clavell say. How are you doing?

I’m scheduled for surgery on February 11th pending insurance approval which they say is no issue with a revision since I have same insurance and with same company as when it was originally placed. After consult Clavell assured me that I need a revision and he can deface the reservoir in a proper place that won’t show and get rid of the old one. Also said he would place the tips of new implant in the “other” pocket that’s on the top of the glans. Tried to explain that mine are in a lower part of the tips of cavernosa and that he could place them more on the top so they don’t poke my wife when my glans rolls back. He said worst case he might have to make two tiny incisions just behind the glands on the top to secure them in the proper place unlike where they are now. As it is they look fine but if you push up on the tip of my gland at all the tips of the cylinders protrude and poke forward. I’ll be making a length post after approval. Just don’t want to talk about what he can do….. until I know what he will be able to do w insurance approval.
