2:00 AM update:

Well, when one problem ends, another arises

I was able to take a FAIRLY normal piss. I’m still constipated so I didn’t completely empty my bladder, but I’m no longer worried that I won’t be able to pee.

However - while my stream was weaker earlier in the evening, I had been getting some piss on the dressings. I took a look in the post-op instructions, and Hakky had said for me to remove the dressings tomorrow. I also noticed for IPP instructions, to remove the dressings if pee gets on them and replace. Unfortunately, I don’t have any sterile dressings here at the hotel to replace mine with, but I decided since we’re only 8 hours or so away from when I’d wake up and remove them, that it was probably best to remove them now to ensure the area underneath is dry / free of any urine.

Unwrapping the dressing honestly went fine - but I did notice fresh blood from one part of the scar that must’ve gotten aggravated when I removed the dressing.

I was able to dab away the blood with sterile tissue and it is no longer bleeding at all, but I’m still going to give Hakky a call tomorrow hoping that I haven’t messed things up this early in my recovery.

On a positive note: I’m now a shower (albeit a smaller one  ) and honestly, my penis looks great to me right now, minus some swelling on the right side. It’s way too early to judge anything, but my fear that my penis was going to look like a pencil does not appear to be coming to light.

Now, I hope I haven’t exposed the implant to infection. Not sure if a little bleeding is expected or normal - the fact that it stopped (and the fact that it was only a couple drops of blood) is giving me hope. Will keep everyone updated.

Welcome back johnnyborg, I don't think there are any problems if you don't have a fever, drops of blood are normal if he ripped the bandages from the wound, in any case keep us updated and add some photos if you can when you remove the bandages

Thanks Frank - yes I’ll definitely consider it!

Day 1 post surgery - morning:

Urination: Good news - I think I’ve mastered peeing with this thing. Stream is a bit better than yesterday with less interruption, and I believe I’m fully evacuating my bladder each time. Hakky wants me to come in today just to make sure there’s nothing wrong and I appreciate his thoroughness / squeezing me into the schedule.

Constipation: Still constipated, but I passed a bunch of gas this morning which was NOT happening yesterday.

Numbness: Numbness continues from the nerve blocker used in surgery. I think my surgery was fairly late in the day yesterday - closer to like 3:30? Hakky warned me I’d be numb and won’t feel my dick but I forgot for how long approximately that’s expected to go on for. I suspect it’s been 18 hours since surgery and I still have numbness all in the shaft and glans. Some light sensations here and there. But no full return of sensation yet anywhere on my dick. I’ll talk to him about it in our session today.

Pain: only mild discomfort. Again, I suspect this is mainly because the numbness from surgery hasn’t subsided.

Today my goals are to go to my appointment with Hakky, keep addressing the constipation (I’ve already started a stool softener) ice the area (Hakky’s advice), and hope that sensation returns soon.

I’m definitely considering it 8-) need to work up the confidence. Right now it looks like a troll’s toe with the bruising and swelling

Right now, it’s STRAIGHT out at 3 o clock position and feels like two steel bars are in my dick

It’s so rigid that I can’t even IMAGINE this thing bending, and am very hopeful that it’s just early stages and that it will bend with time + practice.

The IPP guys have to cycle, the MPP guys have to get that hinge bending :D

Edit: I’m concealing it under a (quite stylish) long coat, fortunate it’s the winter lol

I think the blood is normal, I had a little occasional spotting through the first week or so. As long as it’s not continuous and flowing, it’s likely fine.

Sounds like you’re happy with your results so far, which is great! All the issues of getting used to this new thing will get sorted out.
