2:00 AM update:

Well, when one problem ends, another arises

I was able to take a FAIRLY normal piss. I’m still constipated so I didn’t completely empty my bladder, but I’m no longer worried that I won’t be able to pee.

However - while my stream was weaker earlier in the evening, I had been getting some piss on the dressings. I took a look in the post-op instructions, and Hakky had said for me to remove the dressings tomorrow. I also noticed for IPP instructions, to remove the dressings if pee gets on them and replace. Unfortunately, I don’t have any sterile dressings here at the hotel to replace mine with, but I decided since we’re only 8 hours or so away from when I’d wake up and remove them, that it was probably best to remove them now to ensure the area underneath is dry / free of any urine.

Unwrapping the dressing honestly went fine - but I did notice fresh blood from one part of the scar that must’ve gotten aggravated when I removed the dressing.

I was able to dab away the blood with sterile tissue and it is no longer bleeding at all, but I’m still going to give Hakky a call tomorrow hoping that I haven’t messed things up this early in my recovery.

On a positive note: I’m now a shower (albeit a smaller one  ) and honestly, my penis looks great to me right now, minus some swelling on the right side. It’s way too early to judge anything, but my fear that my penis was going to look like a pencil does not appear to be coming to light.

Now, I hope I haven’t exposed the implant to infection. Not sure if a little bleeding is expected or normal - the fact that it stopped (and the fact that it was only a couple drops of blood) is giving me hope. Will keep everyone updated.
ED since high school. Pills always hit or miss, mostly ineffective. Finally diagnosed with venous leak in early September 2025.
Surgery scheduled for Rigi10 MPP w/ Dr Hakky on January 20, 2026.

Welcome back johnnyborg, I don't think there are any problems if you don't have a fever, drops of blood are normal if he ripped the bandages from the wound, in any case keep us updated and add some photos if you can when you remove the bandages
