From my point of view, seeing here on the forum the vast majority have a penis of above average size, starting from 6" and up, I have seen many brothers here with penises of 7/7.5/8", with those dimensions, in my opinion, they should absolutely opt for a malleable. Mine was a particular story but if I ever need a revision I will opt for a malleable, the problem is finding a high-volume malleable implantologist in Italy.

Hey Frank, I thought you were super happy with your CX. Why are you thinking of a MPP? By the way did you end up losing some girth with the CX and if so how much?

no no, it's all good, only if he had put the tips lower it would have been fantastic, and 13/ let's say I'm 80% satisfied, I haven't lost circumference, in fact, I was 13 cm and now I'm 13/13.5 on the best days, in length I've gained 1 cm, I was 15.5 now I'm 16.5 cm

Post-surgery update:

Wow - I can’t believe I’m typing this, but I’m OUT OF SURGERY and am the proud owner of a Rigi10 with 11mm rods.

Dr Hakky mentioned to me before surgery that he felt I could go with the 12mm rods, but I decided to opt for 11mm rods as I originally planned. As tempting as that extra millimeter of girth in the rods sounds, I know that it’s a common reported challenge that the 13mm rods are tough to bend (and that honestly, the 12mm are sometimes challenging too). So I decided to just play it safe.

The facility was pristine and the staff were honestly all amazing. The last thing I remember was getting onto the operating table, getting the first dose of sedative, and then getting the most restful sleep I’ve had in awhile.

Meanwhile of course, Dr Hakky and team were chopping away

The next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room. The process of discharge happened very quickly. I woke up - this was incredibly trippy - and the discharge nurse started checking to make sure I was doing okay / getting me water / etc. After that, I was wheeled out to my driver’s vehicle and back to the hotel.

What I’m feeling now / what’s next:

For starters, im numb (and im grateful I am). Dr Hakky numbed the whole area and it should be this way for a bit. Dressings on the penis should come off Wednesday, and shower on Thursday.

Definitely feeling some pressure and general discomfort but no significant pain right now. More like a dull ache in my penis and area around it. I have a sore throat from the intubation during anesthesia, but no nausea or dizziness which is fantastic.

On advice of Hakky, I’m not looking at my penis just yet directly. With that said he sent me a couple stills of what it looked like immediately post-op and honestly… I don’t know how to explain it, but it looks just as large as my “natural” erection, if not better. Again, I’m tempering my expectations here, but it’s promising.

I honestly can’t believe - after years of researching solutions, surgeons, and timelines, that the surgery is DONE. Now it’s just a matter of taking care of the wounds and healing. Hopeful for no curveballs like erosion or infection.

Thanks everyone, will drop another update tomorrow.

Thank you Duke, I really appreciate it!! Yep, that’s the plan. I anticipate next couple days being rough but hoping each day will be a little bit better than the last.

Feeling incredibly positive tonight post-surgery. Not thinking about size, girth, or any of the details lol just focused on getting a good meal right now after doing a 24 hour clear liquid diet

Appreciate that Frank - I’m still a bit drowsy from the anesthesia so apologies if this doesn’t make sense:  but here’s honestly how I looked at it.

Would I rather have a “small-ish”penis that only worked 30-40% of the time? Or would I rather have a slightly smaller than my original “small-ish” penis that was strong AF and allowed me to be fully present during sex, letting me perform how I want, WHENEVER I want?

The answer, of course, was a no brainer for a guy who has had ED his whole life. ;)

And of course - the other benefit of being smaller - with a malleable specifically - is that it will be a bit easier to conceal once I can get the thing to bend later in my recovery.

Update (post surgery by a few hours):

Two things I’m already noticing.

1) I’m constipated from the anesthesia.

2) It’s definitely difficult to pee, likely resulting from catheter and numbing to the whole region. I’m able to get very, very small bursts of urine out (not straining) but not fully evacuating my bladder. I’ve read from a few others here that this does happen, but naturally it bugs me. Hoping this resolves soon.

Huh! That’s strange about your ability to pee.

Mine implant surgery was done at Lackland Air Force Base Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas and they wouldn’t release me until I could pee a good amount. Same day outpatient surgery
