Like many have said, if she’s the right one for such a big decision she will understand. If not, I probably dodged a bullet. I think I’m most worried about potentially messing up a semi perfect relationship.

Hey Franklin! For what it’s worth, I think you’re making a good call. I think if she’s the right one for you, she’ll understand and see that you CARE about yourself and your health, and instead of letting ED ruin your sex life you decided to take action.

I also think that because you’re in your 40’s and likely will need a revision someday down the line, being truthful about it now will make it SO much easier down the line.

Conversations with partners on ED can be tough. I do think there’s STILL so much unfair and unwarranted stigma with ED… this ridiculous idea that not being able to get a natural erection makes you somehow “less of a man”. I think the narrative around this is long overdue for a change - for so many of us, ED became an unavoidable part of our lives. But instead of letting it overtake us, we chose to do everything in our power to restore our sex lives - trying pills, injections, and of course the implant. That really takes courage to fight for your health like that. At the end of the day, you chose that brave path - and now the two of you are able to enjoy sex and intimacy together, because it’s something you valued enough to fight for.

Okay Dan let’s fight here. I’ve read your posts for months and always looking forward to reading them. I, we, understand the torment you went through, but look at it through our eyes, men that were in a relationship when we had our implant installed.
