Hey brother, I’m really sorry to hear that so much has hit you all at once. That has to be incredibly frustrating. As we get older, patience becomes part of the process even when it’s hard and sometimes life teaches us lessons the tough way. I’ll definitely keep you in my prayers, my brother. The best is still ahead.I’m on Day 4 of my own journey as well, and of course I’m sexless right now same for my wife and I’m pretty sure she needs it even more than I do (she’s younger ). But this is part of the process. One step at a time.Wishing you the best with your revision, and please keep us updated here. Stay strong.

As for myself: a slightly more thorough Google search shows that the hospital where I'm scheduled to have the procedure is in fact not affected by the strike. Dr. Eid's office also confirmed that my surgery is still on. So I'm looking forward to Friday - with a certain amount of trepidation.

Revision surgery done
Finally, I have the revision surgery behind me. The healing has begun.

I got home from the hospital two hours ago and am now flat on my back in bed, as per Dr. Eid’s instructions. I didn’t get to see him after I woke up, but he called my husband and said everything had gone very well. I will contact him on Monday to get more details.

I seem to have been in the operating room for three full hours -- which may lead to another hefty check from the hospital; the amount I paid upfront covered only two hours’ OR time. Well, that’s one worry I’m not going to focus on right now.

For now, I’m just trying to get as comfortable as I can -- which turns out to be not very comfortable at all. It feels like I got kicked by a horse in the balls, and my dick feels like, well, like someone cut it open with a scalpel, I guess. I’m in more pain now than I remember being after my first implant surgery, in spite of having popped an Oxycodone in the backseat of the car as my husband drove me home. But I’m also very tired and suspect I will eventually just doze off. I’m looking forward to getting the next few days behind me.

Glad you are progressing NYCgay sorry about yet an additional bill but you are correct, don’t dwell on that. Sending patience and energy and ice and a warm hug.
