Uro/Surgeon PSA

Postby Time2Change » Fri Jan 16, 2026 8:13 pm

This post is for guys in the New Haven, CT area.

I had my annual follow-up appointment with my urologist/surgeon, Martin Gross, yesterday.

He told me he's leaving Dartmouth Hitchcock, here in NH, and going to practice at Yale in the spring.

Dr. Gross specializes in treating ED. I feel extremely fortunate to have had him as a urologist/surgeon these past nearly six years.

Not only is he a great implant surgeon, he's a great urologist as evidenced by his concern for me because of family history of prostate problems.

And, he's an overall great guy to talk to, as well. He's attentive, personable, and funny.

If you're in that area and considering an implant, I highly recommend you look him up. I think he's moving down there in May or June.

This is nothing more than a shameless plug. Not a PSA and only applies to .0005% of us. Your subject should say Connecticut.

PSA = Prostate-specific antigen

We have all had the test, and results, and the long journey that follows.

I dont understand how that relates to the post.
20 years of ED, initially managed by pills. Increasingly severe BPH, emergency HoLEP prostatectomy 4 years ago. Fixed the prostate but pills just don't work any more. Solution is decided.
Currently booked for surgery Jan 2026.

A public service announcement is something that everyone needs to hear because it’s important to everyone.
