Okay, so try a pill and a shot and say you don't like 'em! Lol.

That’s all my insurance required. Dr said it’s medically necessary for me to have an erection and that I had tried pills and injections. Not even sure the injections were necessary. I really feel like it has something to do with how well the Dr knows what codes to use and how to explain on the paperwork. Was told by Clavell this past Monday that I should have no issues getting approved for a revision thru same insurance as I had almost 4 years ago when I had mine done. My implant functions perfectly but having issues with herniating resivour and tips of cylinders poking my wife as they are too close to the bottom part of glans.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

Are you self-diagnosing that this is a mental issue?

I'm going to agree with other guys that, if you had a functioning hard on until you were 39, this is probably physical.

I had a perfectly fine hard on until I was 32. For years I went along with doctors' assessments that I had a mental problem.

Nope. Turns out I'd damaged my pudendal nerve while on a five-week bicycle tour.

I was never able to make peace with this problem. Pills worked okay for a while, but lost effectiveness over time.

Like other guys have said, do some more digging to uncover the physical problem.
