For the concealment issue, refer to or search past topics. A searchable history is simply magic. We can learn so much from the History.
1955. I have had ED for years. We were planning to go for a Rigi10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in. 9/2025 More life roadblocks with prostate Cancer:((

From my own research, this checks out. Tactra generally seems hardest to bend. Rigicon is also harder to bend at higher girths. My surgeon (Hakky) recommended sizing down on girth if this is a concern for the patient because the 11mm girth models tend to bend easier (this was regarding the Rigi10 implant, but I imagine same principle applies to Tactra).

Not all patients have this issue with the wider girth rods, but it’s something that does happen with some patients.

Stay tuned, because my surgery is next week (Jan 20) and I’ll be able to give some personal feedback on this point lol

As I’ve understood it, concealment can be awkward in early days before bending because some doctors don’t want you to bend it until later weeks.

However, Dr Hakky wants me to come into the office a week after surgery to bend it into stowage position. We will see - if I’m too sensitive at that point, I’ll likely stay another week and see if we can bend it the following week.

The risk is there with Tactra and Rigi10 that they won’t bend well or at all - although I’ve only seen a handful of folks talking about this on the forum, I think it’s fair to say that it’s not a “rare” issue. Definitely something to take into consideration. easymoney is a great example of this, where his first Rigi10 bent just fine but his current one doesn’t.

Best of luck easymoney on your discussions with your surgeon on this!

As mentioned - one potential mitigating factor is to purposefully undersize the rod girth to around 11mm (even if 13mm is an option). Not a guarantee that it will make it completely easy to bend, but from a physics standpoint this does make sense. This is something Hakky told be and I’m 90% sure this is what I’ll request he does as part of my surgery.

I should also add that there are many examples that show the Rigi10 and Tactra bending absolutely fine - mbambo’s Rigi10 journal also comes to mind (I think he has a 13mm girth rod and was able to bend it fine and it got easier and easier as he kept healing, from half a year onward or something like that).
