I got implanted with a 22cm Coloplast Titan on Tues morning at around 9am (13 Jan). It's now Wed night, so I'm saying I'm two days post op.
Dr Chris Love did the op in Melbourne - He's a lovely guy and seems to be the foremost implanter in Australia.
So, as Day 2 comes to an end I can report that I'm relieved that the pain and discomfort is not too bad.
I'm still tightly bandaged up - one wrapped around the shaft (the glans are exposed) and one very tightly wrapped around my ball sack. I haven't been able to see the extent of the swelling or bruising because of the bandages. I'm scheduled to leave hospital tomorrow after a two night stay. The bandages will come of before I discharge.
Peeing has been no problem.
I suppose I'll have to get a couple of ice pack things, although the hospital may provide that before I leave. At this stage whilst still bandaged, I don't feel I need them. If anything, it's the scrotum bandage that feels uncomfortable, but, then again, maybe it's doing its job and keeping the swelling down.
But, thankfully, the discomfort has been minimal. I'm now looking forward to getting the bandages off tomorrow. The Doc has provided me with a set of instructions for the next few days/weeks.
Would be very happy to hear of others experiences post-op.
I'm sure I've made the right decision and the posts of this forum have been immensely helpful.

Congratulations MissionIflatable!
Welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood!
I used gel ice packs that I use to use on my knees before I got my knees replaced. They came in a fabric sleeve and I could conform them to cover all my junk, which felt good.
I’m the 18 million dollar Bionic Man, two total knee replacements and a Bionic Dick! lol
Right now, it’s just healing up from all the trauma to your dick. It was 6 weeks for me until I got to raise and lower the flag with my Bionic Dick, I had the penoscrotal install. If you got the infrapubic install, your cycling will begin sooner.
We’re here for you MissionInflatable!
Just reach out with any questions

MissionInflatable, congrats on a successful surgery, start of a good recovery, and welcome to the bionic brotherhood ! I had a tough recovery so you're already way ahead of where I was. Lots of good advice above, just remember that patience is key, the recovery is usually measured in months not weeks, and that progress comes one step at a time. Again patience is key. Also ice
