When does the cycling pain stop?

Postby browny30 » Sun Jan 11, 2026 12:27 pm

Hey all, I've been cycling for about 3 months now, managed to get back some length with a tiny bit of girth, however I still get really sore, the morning pump in the shower is usually 20 minutes but it starts hurting after 4-5 mins and by the time I've finished up my glands are in agony, likewise when I do it in the evening. How long did it take for the pain to stop for you guys while you were at max pump?

For me, “pain” from pumping stopped around 3-4 months. Im at 8 months, and I still cycle most days and still feel a little sore when pumping past a previous max. Soreness is good, means the tissues are still being stretched a little each time.
67 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.
Implanted 4/4/2025. AMS 700CX 21cm with .5 extenders

Thanks for your response, I'm abit gutted I've still got months of this left lol, was hoping I'll get to the point where I can inflate to max and stay hard for hours without any discomfort

Browny, I didn’t think my pain would go away either, by the time 20 minutes was almost up, I was crying uncle.
For me things started getting way better at month 4 and 5, with less pain and discomfort in my glans.

I also did extra cycling in a hot tub of water covering as much of my dick that I could 3 to 4 times a week while my wife did her morning walks.
I would pump it up to 70 percent and bend my dick up and down and side to side for 5 minutes then I would pump it to the max and see how long I could go without crying uncle.
It got better every week, by 6 months I could go an hour at maxed pumps in the tub.
We almost have the exact install, I have the AMS 700LGX 18cm with 3cm rear tips. My internal measurements were 10cm proximal and 11cm distal.

That's really good to hear thanks, we're very much the same, ive got one 2cm rte (3 didn't fit so out a 2cm) and one 3cm rte, the surgeon was good, said he tried to give me as much size as he could, thanks for the tips.

Can I ask what's your length? Mine was 5 1/2 and now it's just a touch over 5 inch with max inflation (and a lot of pain).

Browny, I’m currently at 6.25 inches. It took a good while to get there.
At 8 weeks I was barely at 5 inches pumped to the max.
At 6 months I was around 6 inches.

Do you know your internal measurements from the doctor’s surgery notes yet?
